Thank you for attending another great session of learning with your Instructor Maria Monica Ortegon for classes Human Behavior and Medical Law and Ethics. This is the last scheduled week for these subjects.
Please be sure to have your required materials and text book to be proficient in the class. As always to gain the proper and full attendance credits please be sure that you log on the the blogtalk radio page and at the bottom of each featured class, sign your name, date and make a comment on the class.
We have appreciated your attention in the classes and look forward to a great review class. If you have questions about the BLOG class, we welcome your questions by sending your Instructor an email.
Your final exam for the classes will be scheduled on campus Wednesday, June 19, 2013 from 4PM to 8PM. You are required to take the final exam and no exceptions will be granted. Thank you so much for attending classes!

Its time for another great meet up at the "BLOG" with SMB Institute of Technology with Sharon Jiawan as she teaches General Education studies to include English and Mathematics for the first hour of the segment. We will be reviewing this weeks lessons from Monday, March 25 and Wednesday, March 27 and introducing additional areas of both subjects.
The second hour of the BLOG class will be Medical Terminology. Please be sure that you have all your required class materials in order to be prepared at your greatest for class. Studying from the comfort of your home has never been easier! Remember that when you log on your may go directly to the chat room but you will need to have completed your registration on www.blogtalkradio.com to comment. Your comment in the form of your name, date and time will give you attendance credits. You may also call in and listen to the class. If you have questions for your Instructor we ask that you hold all questions until the end of the BLOG class and send your Instructor an email at SJiawan@SMBTechSchool.org.

Welcome to BLOG class 4 of GED Mathematics and Medical Terminology with Sharon Jiawan. This class will conclude your BLOG classes for GED Mathematics and Medical Terminology. You will have two days of classes on campus next week and your final exams on Friday and or Saturday. You will have one make up day on Thursday of next week and this class will also be considered a review, it is an option class if you want to attend. If you decide not to attend it will not go against your grade or attendance. It will be considered the make up class for April 6th. Please see the Office Administrative Assistant for more details about your completion schedule of classes this term, final exams and next term registration. As with all classes YOU MUST sign in to receive your attendance credit and should have the proper materials ready to be productive in your class. Technology and Telepsychology

Today's guest is Dr. Frank Corigliano, currently a Postdoctoral Psychology Resident specializing in telepsychology in New York. He is working on two exciting projects at the intersection of psychology and technology. Dr. Corigliano sees patients for individual and couples therapy privately and at the Institute for Human Identity. In addition to seeing patient’s onsite, Dr. Corigliano is working with the institute for Human Identity to develop telepsychology services such as using video for therapy which would allow the institute to offer their services throughout New York State.
The second project Dr. Corigliano is working on, and the one we will be discussing today, is a Supportive Televisiting Program of the Social Service Board at the New York Society for Ethical Culture. Televisitng uses live, real-time video and audio to allow kids to "visit" through the TV, with their incarcerated parent.
Dr. Corigliano earned a Master’s degree from Teachers College, Columbia University and a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from St. John’s University. He trained at the Beck Institute in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT).
Join Jim and Dr. Corigliano in a discussion on the growth of telepsychology and how he sees it expanding in the future.

GED/Medical Terminology

General Education Diploma or GED studies are the equivalency of high school diploma classes. These classes will be taught on campus only, however the first segment will be here on this Blog. This segment will cover GED English and GED Math for the first hour. The final hour will be Medical Terminology, with both subject matters taught by Sharon Jiawan.
Be sure to follow up with Ms. Sharon Jiawan in class on Monday for testing date. You must sign in using your social media account or by joining our school Blog page. If you are registered for one or both of these classes, in order to receive credit you must sign in twice using your name and sign in date and time. Thank you.
