    6:15 Alicia Carr

I have been an advocate against domestic violence since I was a child.  Being a child of domestic violence and seeing my mother being abused was very difficult for me to accept and understand.  It confused me more when I also found that my aunt almost died during an incident when her boyfriend stabbed her several times.  All of this as a child, seeing my mother and my aunt being abused changed my life and my attitude. It made me realize It could either weaken me or make me stronger. I choose strength.
In 2009 my best friend Shenetta urged me to become a Life Coach so that I would have some credentials to help others officially.  I never thought I could go through with it.  But with support and perseverance, I became a Certified Empowerment and Relationship Life Coach.  Continuing my drive to bring light to Domestic violence and helping women to be strong.

At 7:15, Our Relationship Coach & Author, Terry Bams is back in the studio to discuss another topic from his first #1 Best Seller, The Mind of A Womanizer. Tune in as Kathy and Terry discuss, Fort Polk and the turn of events while there.

At 8:15, we have Felicia Meadows who currently works as a Professional School Counselor. Graceland w/Jennifer Meadows

    in Politics Conservative

Well, I know everyone was concerned about whether Hillary Clinton was too old to run for President in 2016.  Good news for everyone, she's been projected to live to age 86 allowing for many more years to possibly accomplish something while in office.  We'll talk about why we keep talking about such an unaccomplished person as a possible Presidential candidate.

Also, the Supreme Court's 6-2 decision on affirmative action for college and university admissions means states may use affirmative action, but are not required to.  How much success have we seen with affirmative action?  Are minorities, women, and / or religious groups any better off?

BLM continues to wage war on the Western part of the US as the focus begins to shift to Texas.  90,000 acres along the Oklahoma / Texas border are in question as the intent to seize private property for federal use are made known.  The Texas Attorney General has a message for the Federal Bureau of Land Management, "I am about ready,” General Abbott told Breitbart Texas, “to go to the Red River and raise a ‘Come and Take It’ flag to tell the feds to stay out of Texas."  It's becoming incresingly clear that states and the federal government are headed for a showdown of major proportions.

Lisa Richards, writer and radio personality, will join us this evening.  Lisa has written articles for a number of Conservative news outlets and maintains her personal blog: http://lisarichardsrocknrollpolitics.wordpress.com/

    Graceland, every Thursday from 9:00 - 10:00pm Central/ 10:00 - 11:00pm Eastern.

    Life's Issues Radio

    in Self Help

Life's Issues Radio with Host Tony Gambone with special guest Karlton Meadows & Judy Flickinger:

Karlton Meadows - Once a sickly, scrawny, last picked, bench-riding kid with little to no athleticism, Karlton dreamed of being a champion athlete & fitness model. Against seemingly unbeatable odds he not only became a sponsored athlete, an international Fitness Authority, published author and fitness model; he packaged his experience and specialized education into a method called Body Engineered which has helped him lead his clients from frustration to fruition regarding their health, fitness, wellness and quality of life goals. He uses the techniques himself as he prepares to Win the Gold at the 2016 Summer Olympic in Rio as the Best 800 meter runner of all time. Sounds impossible? Good, he has made the impossible possible for himself as well as for many of his clients.

Judy Flickinger was a hospice nurse for the last twelve years of her forty two-year professional life as a registered nurse. During this time she recognized that a healthy spirit (who we are as a person) could make the difference between a miserable death and a positive, meaningful end-of-life experience for both the patients and their loved ones. Judy wrote Spirit Matters: How to Remain Fully Alive with a Life-Limiting Illness, published by Tate Publishing & Enterprises, to pass on what she learned. This information is vitally important to persons faced with a life-limiting illness and everyone else, as well. In 2011 Judy received Central Florida’s “Woman of Hope” award for her book and her work with hospice. Judy continues her quest to promote good end of life care by giving presentations to the public, volunteering for hospice and being interviewed on national radio.

Kurt Koonz: A Million Steps To Happiness

    in Self Help

Our Host: Svetlana Kim, Speaker, Award-winning Author, and Consultant. www.svetlanakim.com

Our Guest: After retiring early from his job as a successful sales executive for a Fortune 500 technology company, Kurt Koontz volunteered in his community and traveled across Europe and North America. He never considered writing a book until he walked nearly 500 miles across Spain in 2012. Those million steps were so compelling that he returned home and began writing and speaking about his life-changing adventures. He lives and writes on a tree-lined creek in Boise, Idaho.

Kurt Koontz is available for select lectures and presentations.
To inquire about an appearance, please contact him at k@kurtkoontz.com.

    Book Description

Kurt Koontz thought he was well prepared for his 490-mile walking trip on the historic Camino de Santiago pilgrimage route in Spain. He was fit and strong. He had a good guidebook and all the right equipment. His pilgrim passport would grant him access to the shelter of hostels along the way. But all that, however helpful, did not begin to encompass the grandeur of his external or internal adventure. A Million Steps climbs over the high meadows of the Pyrenees, quests through the unceasing wind of the Meseta, and dances in the rains of Galicia. While following the yellow arrows that mark the route, Koontz also navigates through his personal history of addiction, recovery, and love. With outgoing humor and friendliness, he embraces the beauty of the countryside and joyful connections to other pilgrims from around the world. Part diary, part travelogue, A Million Steps is a journey within a journey all the way to the Cathedral de Santiago de Compostela and beyond.
