Saturday 8a.m. EST #347-996-5568 -Elizabeth Gilbert says in the September edition of the O Magazine that, "no matter what you've been through, it can become beautiful in the retelling". Mona Van Duyn says, "For what is story if not relief from the pain of the inconclusive, from dread of the meaningless?".  I find both of these statements interesting and I want to talk about.

The Global Leadership Summit 2015 Highlights on "ME, GOD and A CUP OF COFFEE"

    in Women

The Global Leadership Summit 2015 highlights. Join me, Randy Miller and, a few others as we share some of the moments that impacted us. It’s said that no matter where you lead, The Global Leadership Summit is a world-class experience designed to help you get better and embrace your grander vision. The 2 day Leadership summit consisted of approximately 260,000 leaders. For two (2) days we were presented with opportunities to sharpen our skills and to influence people we lead. Based on surveys from previous attendees the outcome for every leader in attendance would be one of four (4) things if not all, Significance, Teamwork, Better Leaders and Effective. I have to admit, I was impacted in all four (4) areas. Bill Hybels, founder and Senior Pastor of Willow Creek Community Church, says he founded The Global Leadership Summit with a commitment to develop and mentor leaders worldwide. YOU DON’T WANT TO MISS THIS SHOW.  The events of the last 2 days have impacted my life significantly. Hopefully, some of the information we share will impact yours. #GLS15

Today we played an archived show but want to still say thank you to all who have died serving our country.

MEMORIAL DAY WAS FIRST KNOWN AS DECORATION DAY;The holiday was long known as Decoration Day for the practice of decorating graves with flowers, wreaths, and flags. The name Memorial Day goes back to 1882, but the older name didn't disappear until after World War II. Federal law declared "Memorial Day" the official name in 1967.

Our hearts go out to all veterans and family members of veterans.  We celebrate you.

CHRISTIANITY - IS IT STILL RELEVANT? on "ME, GOD and A CUP OF COFFEE with Susan

    in Women

Some things just make the hair on your back stand up. This is exactly what happened when I watched Raven Symone say that every religion has its time such as pagan. I wanted to explore her comment further but I couldn't, at least no with her. So this has become the inspiration for this weeks show on "Me, God and A Cup of Coffee". "Christianity Today and, Is It Still Relevant?" - How do you feel about Christianity? Is it relevant in business, education, for single women, families, etc.? Religion today, Christianity today.  What's the diferrence? Is there a difference?  I know it's controversial but, that's why this is Real Women Real Talk.  Please watch the video then plan to join me Saturday morning at 8 a.m. with friends. It's going to be a good one. #347-996-5568 #‎RWRT2015 COME HAVE A CUP OF COFFEE ON ME. #‎RealWomenRealTalk

REAL WOMEN-REAL TALK on "ME, GOD and A CUP OF COFFEE"

    in Women

Recently I read an article by Oprah called "Here We Go!" - She says, "Call me crazy, but I've never really understood our culture's fear of getting older. The way I see it, every year can be a brand new journey. You get one chance to be 25...38...44...61...and every age before and between. Why wouldn't you want to experience all the wonder in each step on your path?". I WANT TO CHAT ABOUT THIS. How do you feel about getting older? Is age important to you? Are you afraid of what's to come.  JOIN ME TOMORROW AND LET'S HAVE A CONVERSATION ABOUT AGING.
