Suwanee, GA – Enduring a life of frustration is common among people in the science, technology, engineering and mathematics (or STEM) community. STEM professionals are routinely passed over for leadership positions. And while it’s true that it’s more expedient to keep these individuals in their current roles because they are fixers of problems, the real reason is much simpler.
“As technicians we’re really good pushing through impossible barriers,” says Dr. Martina Carroll-Garrison, “but everybody thinks we’re jerks!”
Dr. Tina is the founder of MCG Consulting Group, an executive leadership coaching practice with a particular focus on the STEM community. Through her unique program Geek Coach 101, Dr. Tina works with individuals in STEM to enhance their leadership capacity while creating balance in their professional and personal lives.
“Self-reflection is the first step toward self-awareness,” says Dr. Tina. “I help the STEM community get out of their head and into their heart.”
An engineer for the Department of the Army and the FBI for 25 years, Dr. Tina’s career had progressed quite well until she hit that familiar brick wall. She made an investment into self-awareness training and the insight gave her a new appreciation for the specific challenges engineers and scientists experience in the work place. Today, Dr. Tina helps her clients identify tangible and executable pathways to joy and forward progress.
“When you become self-aware, you understand what’s blocking your progress,” says Dr. Tina. “I was a great engineer but it didn’t fill my soul. I walked away from something I was very good at to do something I’m passionate about, so I fall in love with all my clients and their willingness to grow and evolve.”

As spiritual beings having a human experience, our souls have a plan for our lives before we’re born. Then we arrive on Earth and discover it was harder than we thought it would be. We all have wise, loving beings connected with us, here to help us live our soul’s plan. Whether we call them Guardian Angels or Spirit Guides or something else doesn’t matter. They are here for us and for everyone, always beckoning us into our destinies.
Moderator Jamie McGonagill is a New York based Theatre artist and the daughter of Lynn McGonagill, Founder and Teaching Channel of the Lightworkers Healing Method. Jamie has gathered a list of questions people typically ask their Guides. Listen in as Jamie's mother allows the Guides and Angels to speak through her, with words of truth, love, and encouragement. Hear for yourself the LOVE, compassion, encouragement, and humor of the Higher Dimension Beings as they respond to Jamie’s probing questions.

At the tender age of 14, “Ambassador” Win met country singing star Zeke Clements and signed his first recording deal with Cross & Crown Records. Two years later he and his brothers recorded their first album, titled “Keep On Pushing,” on the Holt Sullivan, Nashville label. “The Ambassador” also wrote, produced and released seven albums for other artists. In 2004 “The “Ambassador” reached back into his roots to release a 26 song CD entitled “FootStompin (vol.1)” The album has often been referred to as a “masterpiece” by gospel critics. Here’s one quote: ”It has legs and will be around for a very long time, guaranteed to make you clap, stomp and dance in the Spirit.” “Foot Stompin (vol.1)” led the way for the release of several other popular CDs and DVDs including “Live and up Close,” “Foot Stompin (vol.2),” “Project Joshua,” and“With People In Mind”. In 2009 “Ambassador Win” released another chart breaking CD entitled “The Leaning Tree” under the name of Win Thompkins & The Stompers on NLR Records. He then re-released it on MCG Records/Humility Music Group. This CD surpassed all other CD/Albums that “Ambassador Win” had released, earning him another title: the “Leaning Tree Man.” It also grew a substantial following within the gospel community, enabling win to minister to thousands. The Ambassador of Foot Stompin Gospel” does what he is called to do. His latest 2013 CD release,“I May Be Hoppin”is guaranteed to make you taste and see the good things of God through the voice of his “Ambassador”servant.

McG plays 30-minute sets by four of his favorite bands. First, is an old school trip with vintage killer cuts by Husker Du from their hardcore years. That's followed by a blistering set of dissonance by Public Image Ltd., highlighting their "Flowers of Romance" years. Landing in the here and now, McG plays two of his fave contemporary bands, Carlton Melton, who excel at spacey, atmospheric jams and Mogwai, who lock into instrumental grooves that are buffered by ambient noise and gentle soundscapes.
