There are not too many people in the country who know more about the fast-food business, and McDonald’s in particular, than Paul Facella. Facella spent 34 years working for McDonald’s, 14 of them as vice president for the New York region, where he quadrupled revenues to over $600 million. He won every top award given by the company and has now written a book, “Everything I Know About Business I Learned At McDonald’s,” published by McGraw-Hill. Facella is an expert on the topic of the importance of structure in entrepreneurship, which is all about how a business is run. If you’re in business, be sure to tune into this episode.
Join host Matt Whitener for another episode of 'Live From The Cheap Seats', this week as he looks back at the Major League Baseball strike of 1994, 20 years later. From what could have been for the Montreal Expos, Kansas City Royals and Cleveland Indians, to the shorten chase after .400 for Tony Gwynn, Matt Williams vs. Ken Griffey Jr for 62 home runs and even what it meant to the game long-term to lose such a critical season. Also, we look at upcoming fantasy football draft run that is approaching, and once again touch on the situation in Ferguson, Missouri.
Hey drinkfive listeners!
Week 5 is over after a hard-fought but predictable loss by the Washington Redskins to the Seattle Seahawks on Monday night. Though not as many as during the fantasy apocalypse earlier this season, there were quite a few injuries to key players in Week 5. We'll discuss the latest news on these players and what you can expect in the next few weeks from them (and their replacements, where applicable). Surprises and disappointments from the previous week, and a walk through the waiver wire leading up to Week 6 will also be discussion topics before we dive into a few key matchups for next week and debate the best fantasy starts in those games.
Thanks for joining us,
Dave and Jason
When you have done ALL to stand the Apostle Paul said ... STAND. Sometimes life can really throw a few curve balls and some fast balls as well. But in order to be able to hit a homerun and make it to home plate you have to hit that ball (trouble) hard with the word of God make sure to place hit at the area in focus the run with all fire and vigor through the bases (the Bible) until you make home.
You may get stuck on base, strike out or even get put out. But you don't give up you step up to the plate and you swing hit again until you have overcome that obstacle or you loose the game.
.Life is not about giving up... it's about winning and you can only win in God. When others see you as a loss God sees you as a win win. Whatever is broken if you break your bat, pick up a new one start over in God and push it to the limit. You will find there is No Limit in God. He will carry you on to home plate by His Angels that are in the Outfield.
Allow the word of God to rebuild in you what you seem to think as lost in HIs word.
Code Brown: Code used in hospitals to alert staff that a patient has defecated in the bed. Used in a sentence: Don't "code brown" where you eat/sleep.
Doctor, Nurses Placed in and/or Refusing Quarantine: It just doesn't make sense. They, of all people should know better, but undetered, they fly, drive and stroll around New York City, as if clueless to the on going discussions on how to address possible exposure to the Ebola virus. Then, when the synptoms can no longer be ignored, they enter into treatment, and our hailed as "heroes,"
Six of one, Half-dozen of the other: If you had to choose, would it be Ebola or President Obama for the Next Two Years?
Ferguson, Missouri: Yes, politicians have used this town and its media coverage, in hopes of garnering votes and saving your progressive, left-leaning, socialist hides. Meanwhile, there have been sightings of blacks publicly denouncing the Democratic party, and they plan on voting Republican.
Clinton Slams "Identity Politics": That's right. He's against it. Strike every statement he's made since taking his first political breath, including the honor of being called the "First Black President."
Tonight's the Night: The Kansas City Royals and The San Francisco Giants break the 3-3 tie. I'm rooting hard for KC Royals, but I'm grateful for both teams putting on a great series, especially in the midst of all the turmoil in our society today.
Many states have all but given up on taking cues from the President, the CDC, and MSNBC. Two Governors take a stand against the wishy-washy suggestions against a virus that has yet to be clearly defined in the eyes of those who claim to have it under control.
Today we'll talk with Senator Rick Santorum about the important upcoming mid-term elections and his recent trip to Iowa. He'll be joined by Congressman Pete Hoekstra to discuss the op-ed they co-wrote about Iraq weapons of mass destruction and how we can strengthen congressional oversight to provide for a vibrant, free watchdog press and reign in future government abuses.
We'll also talk with Dr. Charles Slater about the Ebola situation. Shelley Ahlersmeyer, National Grassroots Director, will share about Patriot Voices Strike Force efforts in Iowa and North Carolina; and Jenifer Lee, Deputy Grassroots Director, will talk about our Call From Home Program.

This week, we delve into the real meat of dealing with Daemons, and using them to enhance Sorcery. We discuss the use of Daemons from four different perspectives, and explore how to utilize and focus their chaotic energy to strike the target for effective results. The Sorceress will perform a ritual to bring an energy that the listeners can feel, which is the correct frequency of chaos to attract Daemons
