    in Christianity

Episode 49 Taking the gospel to the streets of Chicago

On this episode of G220 Radio:

In the first hour I'm excited and looking forward to have two good brothers from the Chicago Evangelism Team, Del Sutter and Ken Hisle. Looking forward to them sharing their testimonies with us and hear about how they have been taking the gospel to the streets of Chicago through public proclamation. They have ...a great bunch of brothers that join them out on the streets, so looking forward to hearing what the Lord is doing with these brothers.

In the second hour, G220 Ministries partner Austin Hetsler, Laura Fairhavenand Pam Hettinga will be joining me to talk with me about the events that happened this past Saturday out at the abortuary. How we seen the Lord work in turning away a young girl who was there being pressured to have an abortion by her own family. How the Lord in His Sovereignty worked in a mighty way and how God used Pam as a pivital piece in this situation. And also hear about the events that was taking place out there due to the anniversary of Roe v. Wade. All this in the second hour of G220 Radio

    Remembering Jordan McDonald

    in Music

On June 14, 2014, Canadian eventer Jordan McDonald suffered a fatal injury while competing at the Nunney International Horse Trials held at Southfield House, Whatley, Frome, Somerset, GBR.

This tragic loss inspired Jordan’s sister, Shannon, who performs as Shanna Lynn in the country music duo known as Georgia Rain, with Damian Marshall (her husband), to record a rendition of his favourite song.

A self-taught guitarist, Jordan loved “The Boxer” by Simon and Garfunkel. Shanna Lynn fondly recalls the times he would play it and ask her to sing along. She didn’t know the words then, but she is pleased to sing it for him now. “This was the hardest recording we have ever done. [It] tugs at the heart strings…very bittersweet for me,” said Shanna Lynn, “but I know he’s listening.”

The song is now available on itunes. Proceeds will go towards keeping Jordan’s dreams and goals alive through his wife, Shandiss, and their horses.

Episode 13: A candid convo with Washington Post reporter Soraya N. McDonald

    in Writing

This week’s episode features a candid conversation with Washington Post reporter Soraya McDonald. In this interview, you’ll recognize right away the wit that shades much of her prose.  Soraya is a graduate of Howard University and began covering the high school sports desk as an college intern. After traveling across the country completing journalism fellowship, internships, and eventually employment, Soraya returned to the Washington Post where she eventually became a staff reporter.

I discovered her work last year when I read an article about a female gamer who had received death threats. Soraya had been covering the story for some time, and I wanted her to speak to my article writing class.

That didn’t happen, but I’m glad this did! I’ll release her bonus material which includes a how-to make the most out of your college experience, a segment particularly helpful for students.

In this show, you also get the 411 on a new daily humor site, The Reject Pile. Founded by writer Joel Miller, the site wants your unwanted work. Thank goodness somebody finally does!

The Betrayal Papers - Part VI - The Chicago Connection

    in Politics Conservative

This, the sixth and final installment of The Betrayal Papers, will explore various projects, schemes, and associations that tie Obama and his associates together.  A preponderance of these project are based out of Chicago, the crossroad of the global Left, Islamic “civilization jihad,” and the Communist mafia.  The themes to observe in each case are deception, greed, and power.

To have any chance to retain our freedoms and personal safety, we must recognize the depth of the treason from within; we must name the perpetrators and conquer them before they end America.
