On tonight's broadcast Rosalie is going to discuss the benefits of maintaining mindfulness in your life. Mindfulness means maintaining a moment-by-moment awareness of our thoughts, feelings, bodily sensations, and surrounding environment.
Mindfulness also involves acceptance, meaning that we pay attention to our thoughts and feelings without judging them—without believing, for instance, that there’s a “right” or “wrong” way to think or feel in a given moment. When we practice mindfulness, our thoughts tune into what we’re sensing in the present moment rather than rehashing the past or imagining the future.
Rosie will be referencing Jon Kabat-Zinn and his Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program, which he launched at the University of Massachusetts Medical School in 1979.
At the bottom of the hour Rosie will be joined by Leslie Hale, Astrologer for the Astro-Talk Weekly segment. You can view Leslies informative newsletter/blog at www.leslishale-astrology.com.
The show is sponsored by Rosalea and Blended Herbal Treasures at www.blendedherbaltreasures.com. Rosie will be accepting calls the last hour of the show. Call in early at 1(714)888-7516 and press the number 1 to be included in the queue.
