'Uniquely Gifted" is a phrase often used to describe Elder Farris Long. As an itinerant minister, his ministry continues to touch thousands of people every day. In 2014 he released a short empowerment video that depicted dark water becoming clear as a reminder for people to not give up their faith and to continue to pray. The video literally went around the world and had been shared more than 2 million times on various social media platforms. As a result, countless people have given their lives to Christ. Many have been freed from addictions and more. This simple message has become the platform that has allowed him to share in churches across the nation his "PRAY HARD" seminar.
Using his trademarked theme "MAKE IT COUNT" He not only reaches out to the churched, but he shares messages of empowerment with people from all walks of life outside the church walls. He has taken this impactful message into the juvenile judicial system of Duval county, into upper level education institutions and more. He is passionate about challenging people to pursue their potential and to fulfill their purpose.
He currently serves in the role of Executive Pastor under the leadership of Bishop Gary E. Wright of Kingdom Life Church of Knoxville. In June 2013, he was also consecrated as an overseer in the Restoration Fellowship providing spiritual covering for pastors who are a part of the fellowship.

Demetrice Smith currently resides in Dallas, Texas with her husband and four children. She is a worshipper, servant, teacher, and an ordained Elder at The Potter’s House of Dallas, Texas, where she serves faithfully under her spiritual leaders Bishop T. D. and First Lady Serita Jakes.Elder Smith operates with a prophetic anointing and is gifted by God to also serve in many other facets of ministry. Elder Smith believes in the power of Jesus’ shed blood and stands on John 15:16, "You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you." It was her love for this scripture and faith in God’s promise that inspired her to institute The Fruit That Remains Ministries, which empowers men and women in all walks of life to reach for and achieve their God-given purpose through skills development, education, and prayer. Not only is Elder Smith dedicated to the spreading of the Gospel, she is also the owner of several businesses. “Business empowerment is essential for success in any community; having the right skills and tools in your toolkit can make a huge difference in social and economic success.” Elder Smith is also near completion of her first book, where she discusses the overwhelming presence and impact of depression not only in the community and church, but in the pulpit. The book, written as a case-study, will tell not only her story, but the story of other leaders who are successful in many areas, yet may feel the “creeping vines” of depression invading their life, particularly when the leaders themselves have been so successful in helping others. The book, tentatively titled I’m Dying On the Inside, will be released Fall 2016.

Elder financial abuse is being called the fastest growing area of crime in America. And it may be happening in your family, if you aren't paying attention to a caregiver -- or a relative -- who, under the guise of being helpful, is syphoning off an elderly person's life savings.
This issue no doubt affects seniors across all socio-economic groups, cultures and races. It is a major problem that is expected to grow dramatically with the aging of our population. We are delighted and honored to be joined by Carolyn Rosenblatt, an expert on the topic, to help us protect our parents or loved ones as well as equip us with tools to spot the red flags that exploitation is happening.
Stay tuned for fresh and insightful ideas on what it means to age with dignity and live your best life as an elder or caregiver today. Life is a Sacred Journey airs Thursdays at 5pm PDT.
