She was also the Virginia Slims of Dallas tournament director in 1989. "Little Mo," or Maureen Connolly, was the last American women to win the Grand Slam. Cindy Brinker Simmons, Mo's daughter, has been the president of the Maureen Connolly Brinker Tennis Foundation since 2007.
