Hassan Giordano is the publisher of www.DMVDaily.com and covers Maryland politics as well as anyone. He is a columnist with some unearthing revelations over the years as it relates to candidates and their work. In Maryland, a primary election occurs on June 24th and we will hear Hassan's latest on just how the races are shaping up.
My name is Brian Vaeth and I am running for the Republican nomination for the Office of the Governor for Maryland. I served in the Baltimore City Fire Department for 13 years, until I suffered a career ending injury in the Line of Duty. I have spent the last 10 years fighting the City’s incompetence just for my disability pension. It was my understanding that government was supposed to protect us. I was wrong. Follow us as we expose the “culture of corruption” that is the climate of Maryland politics. Our politicians have placed themselves in a status that is above us, so it seems and the average citizen’s interaction with the government is an unpleasant one. Their failure to govern properly and serve the people instead of themselves has driven this State to the point of economic ruin. They punish us by imposing excessive fines and taxes, like with the recent “rain tax”, which alone made us a laughing stock in the national media, and the fraudulent traffic camera programs throughout the State have been a “cash cow” which does nothing but charge us to fill the gap they created in Maryland’s budget. Our campaign will expose the corruption and hold those responsible for violating the law.
