    FRIDAY, MARCH 14TH, 2014

Ed McGrath's School of Isshin-ryu Karate-do & Kobu-do presents our Martial Arts Talk Show. Host Dan Vena invites martail artists to call in and talk about their practice. We invite students to call in and ask questions and discuss training procedures with progress based results. Our show is 30 minutes live and BTR allows us to keep talking for up to 45 minutes archived. So take advantage of our platform and advertise your school.

Our main goal is to promote unity and harmony amoung all martial artists no matter what discipline or style. As a traditional dojo we practice the curriculum developed on Okinawa by Shimabuku Tatsuo Sensei. His style of Isshin was developed by his learning of Goju and Shorin. We here in the United States practice the curriculum brought home by Don Nagle Sensei. (USMC-DEC:) His teachings have spread throughout the world since that first dojo in Jacksonville, North Carolina. My Sensei Ed McGrath (USMC-RET:) is the inheritor of Don Nagle's AOKA continues to focus on building the camaraderie that existed in that original dojo. So here we are on BTR asking you to call in and talk about your experience.
