@Pronexia -- @LINKEDIN -- Company
I co-founded Pronexia with the aim of changing the face of the industry. Our clients expect a lot from us because we refuse to settle for mediocrity in everything that we do and I look forward to the day when all companies start demanding a lot more, thus forcing the rest of our “competitors” to clean up their act. Mediocrity is a crime – please, don’t be an accomplice.
Lynne Hinkey is a marine scientist who spent "donkey years" in the Caribbean, hanging around marinas and boaters. She currently lives in Charleston, South Carolina, with her husband, two dogs, and a cat. She is the author of a number of short stories, essays, and travel articles, and is a reviewer for The Internet Review of Books and the Underground Book Review. When not writing, Lynne is an adjunct professor of biology at Trident Technical College and the University of Maryland -- University College.
Now, in her own words, "For as long as I can remember, I've been a writer, mostly of fiction (even when keeping a journal -- my own adolescence just wasn't exciting enough to document without embellishment.)
I wrote my first book at age 8: a self-illustrated guide to "School Rules." My parents locked themselves in the bathroom to read it so their laughter wouldn't hurt my feelings. They didn't discourage me, and I finished my first two (unpublished) novels while still in high school.
Life took me down another career path--one that ultimately gave me the stories I'd write, and let me find my voice. I decided to pursue this road seriously in 2005, and in 2008, my first short story found its way into print.
Since then, a number of my other stories, essays, travel articles, and book reviews have been published in print and online. The release of my debut novel, Marina Melee, (Casperian Books, 2011) was only the beginning of this journey. My second novel, Ye Gods! A Tale of Dogs and Demons, was released by Casperian Books on April 1, 2014 and I still have more stories to tell."
