On this episode, we will speak to president and co-founder of Troma Entertainment Lloyd Kaufman in hour 1. Mr. Kaufman has done it all in the business, from appearing in blockbuster films like Rocky and Guardians of the Galaxy, to writing some of Troma's best loved films.
In hour two, we are joined by Marilyn Ghigliotti. Marilyn is best known as Veronica in the Kevin Smith film Clerks, a role she is set to reprise in the third film. She is also in a series of films by director Neil Johnson, Alien Armageddon and Starship Rising.
Peter McWilliams was a New York Times best-selling author. He was everywhere from the Oprah Winfrey Show to TIME Magazine. His books spanned from poetry to computers, from personal growth to political, among them, "How to Survive the Loss of a Love," "Ain't Nobody's Business if You Do" and "You Can't Afford the Luxury of a Negative Thought." In later years Peter was diagnosed with AIDS and Cancer and discovered medical marijuana. He was in the process of writing: "A Question of Compassion: An AIDS-Cancer Patient Explores Medical Marijuana" but died before being able to complete it. He died at the young age of 50. He had become an outspoken cannabis warrior, and the DEA labeled Peter a "drug kingpin," they raided his house, took his computer and his latest works in progress. Peter was jailed for thirty days. He was going to go to trial, and he was told if he smoked marijuana again, he'd go to prison and his mother and brother would lose his house. Peter died at the young age of 50, never making it to trial, and many feel the government murdered him. On March 31st, Easter Sunday, this book will become a youtube video narrated by American Weed's (National Geographic) Josh Stanley. Peter's books in print are still available by ordering through petermcwilliams.org. Proceeds allow Julia of PeterMcWilliams.org.Please join our facebook event page for "A Question of Compassion":https://

We'll also be joined by Marilyn's husband, Dale Lawrence who, in the second hour of the show will discuss, "tools for embracing the seven stages of spiritual consciousness (enlightenment) based in the ancient traditions of alchemy."

Help Your Doctor Help You! Know The Questions To Ask! So you've just been diagosed with an illness...Now what?
Do you just passively take whatever the doctor says and follow it to the letter?
Or are you proactive and ask a lot of questions?
It's really challenging when we're first diagnosed with an illness, any illness, to move from fear and panic mode, where we feel like a victim - and then act like a victim by doing as we're told! - to taking charge of our own journey back to health.
However, my patients learn to ask me questions, to partner with me on their journey back to health. We also discuss what they need to ask their MD, and the other members of the medical team they're working with on other aspects of their treatment protocol.
Often all we need is a little guidance as to what specific questions to ask. And since this has been the most frequently asked question this week in the emails I've received from you, as well as on Facebook, "The Dr Marilyn Joyce Show" is going to arm you with some of the most important questions to ask. Get your pens and paper ready!
After the show drop on over to Dr Marilyn Joyce on Facebook at: http://www.facebook.com/DrMarilynJoyce, LIKE the page (if you haven't already) and leave your comments and questions. Your input is the critical foundation of the show!
