Deepertruth: Journey With Mary, John Carpenter at Poplar Bluff Missouri

    in Religion

John Carpenter was raised in a Methodist church, his father was a Minister of a Methodist congregation. On Deepertruth, John Carpenter will give his conversion story how he has come to accept the Catholic Faith. Since his conversion, John has developed a great interest in the Virgin Mary. He began investigating Marian apparitions bring a wholeness of faith into his life.

John has been featured on Deepertruth each and every Sunday night focusing on many of these Marian apparitions. The show is called Journey with Mary as we go from one country to another in time and space.

John also works at the Diocesan level helping the local Bishop of Springfield Missouri, he is a part of the Southern Missouri Marian Association, and is part of Deepertruth. He speaks at conferences where he is becoming more sought after for his study of Marian apparitions.

John has certainly become an important figure for Deepertruth as he has helped co-host conversion stories of other Catholics. John’s professional background, a field of psychology, gives him a unique perspective in studying the seers of Our Lady from Heaven.  Tonight, John will give his conversion story.

We are all called to follow the Lord in all that we are and I think this is why conversion stories are so important to many of us. They offer hope in times of despair. Because we are living in an evil age, St. Paul writes, ”And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God handed them over to their undiscerning mind to do what is improper.” Romans 1:28

Bulls & Blackhawks Begin Playoff Push

    in Sports

The Chicago Bulls and Chicago Blackhawks have each begun their respective playoff series with middling results.  Despite a 2-0 series lead over the Milwaukee Bucks, the Bulls have looked vulnerable to double teams and traps, and have struggled with taking care of the basketball.  Derrick Rose had a successful Game 1, his first playoff game since 2012, but had a rough night shooting the ball in Game 2.  The injury roller coaster continues to swing up and down for this team as it tries to find a playoff rhythm.  The Blackhawks, meanwhile, managed to steal Game 1 of their series vs the Nashville Predators and take a 2-1 series lead into tonight's Game 4. Patrick Kane is back, Coach Joel Quenneville has used varying lineups, and the goalie controversy is swirling in Chicago.  Corey Crawford sits again tonight, and 26 year old rookie Scott Darling gets the start in net for the Hawks.  I'm breaking down these two playoff series so far, and looking ahead to tonight's game between the Blackhawks and the Predators.  All this and your phone calls at (347) 327-9183!

David Hecker, President of the American Federation of Teachers, Michigan is back this week as we explore the GOP agenda AGAINST Public Education.  It just never stops.
Barb Lesecki-Webb and her wife Kristin have been through a lot the last year.  Barb lost her job teaching at Marian High School because she had a “non-traditional” family, they had a baby girl and they have become unexpected activists.  It’s quite a story.
Bob Wood has been teaching for over twenty-five years and he has finally had enough!  Listen to find out why he believes Michigan Public Schools are now, well, disgusting and how we actually have a way to change it.  What and how?  Listen to find out.
Open Lines…Ayn Rand, who wrote the manifesto for the current day Republican mantra of selfishness and arrogance, visited with Johnny Carson in 1967 and what she said then juxtaposed with where we are at now is remarkable.  Listen to the first of two parts of the interview and hear what she had to say.  It’s all too real.
Chris Savage with Eclectablog .com has a huge menu of topics today including our Attorney General wasting more taxpayer dollars and a pizza shop who welcomes all and is raising money to help defend their right to serve all.

    Richard Rudd: The Gene Keys

    in Relationships

    Richard Rudd

A teacher, mystic and poet, Richard Rudd attended Edinburgh University where he gained a master’s degree in literature and metaphysics. Having been gifted with an inheritance, Richard used it to go on a decade long worldwide search for truth and meaning. He studied with great teachers in the East, traveled through the Himalayas, the Pacific and the Americas. He worked in the film industry in Australia, trained as a teacher of Chi Kung in Thailand and sailed across the Atlantic Ocean on a small yacht. During this time he lived in Manhattan, Oregon and Hawaii before finally returning to the UK in 1998, where he met Marian his wife. Over the following years they had 3 children and moved to Devon in southern England. Throughout his adventures Richard has explored his love of writing and in 2006 he won the FISH international poetry award in Ireland.

Richard’s mystical journey began early in life as he experienced strange energies rushing throughout his body. This phenomenon catalysed his spiritual search. All his studies became synthesised in 2002 when he began to write and receive the Gene Keys. It took seven years to write the book and understand its teachings and applications. Today Richard continues to study and teach the profound lessons contained in the Gene Keys.
