  • Epiphany's House welcomes back Marc Marcel(and it is long past time too)

    in Poetry

Ok ok..last week I had a bit of a situation..I could not broadcast as I had major tech problems..  Well let us try this one more time..I am pleased..so very pleased to bring back a longtime friend of my show and long time friend of mine..the beautiful Marc Marcel...He is more than just a poet ya'll...I promise u that...he also happens to be an open book..you may ask him anything..he aint scurrred...

One of the world’s most recognized, prolific and consciously aware Spoken Word Artist of his generation, Marc Marcel finds it difficult to restrict himself to the labels of the art form. “It took me over a decade into my profession for me to realize poetry isn’t my gift,” Marc reveals, “Poetry is just a tool I’ve been using, to spread my gift through.” With his many artistic attributes, if one would categorize his efforts, a philosopher would be more fitting.

Andre Controversa Presents: Same Sex Marriage: Did SCOTUS Overreach?

    in Politics Conservative

This is Andre Traversa, host of the Andre Controversa show at www.blogtalkradio.com/andrecontroversa, also linked at www.libertarianrepublican.net.

Tonight's topic will be the SCOTUS same sex marriage ruling, with four guests weighing in on the issue.

As usual, conservatives were more willing to go on the air than liberals, but I did manage to get one moderate/liberal voice to join our panel discussion.

His name is Christopher Hale, and he is with Catholics in Alliance for the Common Good.

They have what they call a more "nuanced," approach to the ruling.

Also joining us is Travis Webber, religious freedom specialist at the Family Research Council, who will share his concerns about the ruling's potential impact on religious liberty.

The legal angle will come from Ken Connelly, legal counsel with the Alliance Defending Freedom.

And last but not least, we will be jointed by the brilliant economics professor Jennifer Roback Morse, founder of the Ruth Institute, who will make her case for a libertarian defense of heterosexual marriage.

The show begins at 9-00 p.m. CT, and we're set up to run for two hours; but we may end the show early; I just don't want to be cut off the air right after the first 60 minutes.

I may add a few surprise guests at the last minute as well.

Please feel free to call in at 914-803-4350, and tune in at 9-00 p.m. Ct for another exercise in Controversa controversy.

    Talk to you later,

Andre Johnson: Ryan Grigson's favorite mistake

    in Sports

Mind of Mansion Podcast Episode 150: Matt Kelley @fantasy_mansion explains why Andre Johnson's 2014 inefficiency wasn't the red flag that it seemed.

Andre Johnson was the one acquisition Ryan Grigson got right.

Andrew Luck and Aaron Rodgers are the great erasers of GM mistakes.

BlogTalk's head of programming liked the new Star Wars movies.

Finally expelling the stench fo Turkish hackers from PlayerProfiler.com.

Committee backs were hurt a lot in 2014: Darren Sproles, Gio Bernard, Shonn Greene, Reggie Bush, Mark Ingram, Danny Woodhead.

Wolff's law and the hardening of running backs to injury over time.

The idea tht Frank Gore has a 94-percent chance of playing all 16 games is absurd.
