My dad is not drafting Adrian Peterson

    in Sports

Mind of Mansion Podcast Episode 140: Matt Kelley @fantasy_mansion explains why Demarco Murray is the best of flawed options at running back in 2015.

Even in his prime, Peterson couldn't soak up enough targets to be considered the top-projected PPR running back.

All stats and ranks should be PPR, but Adrian Peterson stats always manage to be non-PPR.

Norv Turner has not had a running back like Jerick McKinnon since LaDanian Tomlinson.

Fantasy writers fall into correlation traps when recounting a particular offensive coordinator's history of success with a particular position.

There will be enough volume in Philadelphia to support Demarco Murray as a fantasy RB1 and Ryan Mathews as a fantasy RB3.

Le'Veon Bell has both a heighted injury risk and substance abuse risk profile.

Mike Evans' beard is a red flag.

Cooling mister fans at Lucas Oil Stadium must spray holy water.

LeBron James, Adrian Peterson, and misguided mythology

    in Sports

Mind of Mansion Podcast Episode 132: Matt Kelley @fantasy_mansion comes out of the closet as a Minnesota Vikings fan.

Drafting Rick Spielman 1.01 in GM fantasy drafts.

The absurdity of forecasting the future solely by predicting past events to repeat themselves.

The Golden State Warriors should have been at least 1/5 prohibitive favorites before the 2015 NBA Finals began.

Lebron James is officially on the back end of the age curve, a degraded version of his former self.

Sports analytics is not nerdspeak, it's truth speak.

Adrian Peterson exemplifies Lebron Jamesian misguided mythology in football.

Assume a player who receives Demarco Murray-level money will receive the lion's share of touches until proven otherwise, not vice versa.

"Breshad Perriman chews up cushion like a pit bull puppy." -Dennis Dunbar

Analytics are not actually complicated, but rather, they simply your sports life.

What's Hot: Pittsburgh Steelers WR depth, Adrian Peterson and the 'Dream Team'

    in Football

Running backs are making news, both with the Steelers and around the NFL.

While Adrian Peterson returns to the Vikings in a controversial manor, Jerome Bettis offered very optimistic remarks in regards to Le'Veon Bell, saying he could become the best running back in team history. An All-Pro last year, what other running backs should be held in Bell's regard as an elite running back? What dark horses are on our lists? Does Peterson, who played in just one game in 2014, still make the cut as one of the NFL's best backs?

The Steelers wide receivers have made their own news thus far in the team's OTAs, with onlookers saying that this could become one of the best units in the NFL. Specifically, receivers Antonio Brown, Markus Wheaton and Sammie Coates have received praise recently for their efforts thus far in OTAs. With that in mind, what are some of the other great receiving units in Steelers history, and, if you could build your "Dream Team" of Steelers receivers to have on a team, what would it be?

These topics will all be tackled in the course of an hour in the newest edition of "What's Hot", which will air Wednesday night at 8:00 p.m. ET. To listen live, go to our BlogTalkRadio page at the start of the show. To listen anytime, search "The Standard is The Standard" on iTunes to listen in the podcast section. The podcast will also be featured on Thursday here on BTSC.

Fans are encouraged to call in at (347) 850-8581and tell us who is in your Steelers wide receiver "Dream Team", along with any other questions Steelers related. Enjoy the show!

Bridges Programming; Bonfire interviews Rosalind Peterson

    in Energy

Bonifre welcomes fellow researcher-activist Rosalind Peterson for the first hour of Landslide on Friday June 12 from 7-9pm Eastern.

The health heist!  They'll share observations on the health "care" system where the sick are often convenient pawns in the game of accumulating wealth. Rosalind's focus: live anthrax  and pharmaceutical antidotes. Or: Let's make people sick and then make a buck off of them.  Bonfire will focus on so-called Lyme Disease, the medical/pharmaceutical industry, high-containment labs and insects for weaponized-disease distribution.

Rosalind's research is found at www.agriculturedefensecoaltion.org.

In her second hour Bonfire revisits the Special Operation Forces (U.S. Occupies U.S.) and the Texas governor's request that the National Guard keep its eye on the upcoming military exercises. See The Nation Magazine January 2014.

And then she talks with Jeff Beller and Susan Caumont about the Human Renewable Energy Measure, a humanitarian idea that could change EVERYTHING (and for the better... for a change). www.hrem.org
