Of all the would-be Christ’s and Antichrists, perhaps none personify evil as completely as Charles Manson. In the early spring of 1969, the so-called Manson family would commit some of the most memorable and horrific murders of the past four decades. In the subsequent trials and countless interviews done with Manson’s followers they all revealed that they obeyed Manson because they believed him to be Jesus Christ. But how could this person who was little more than a petty criminal with a failed musical career have created a cult following that endures to this very day? Join us today as we explore the madness and the mystery of the Manson Family.
We air programs on Blog Talk Radio at the following times: Sun 2:00pm, Mon 8:00pm, Tue 8:00pm, Wed 7:00pm, Thur 8:00pm, Fri 7:00pm & Sat 9:00am. All times are Eastern Standard Time.
Halloween is right around the corner and what better way to celebrate than to have two shows in one!!! First we start off with Scott Michaels from www.dearlydepartedtours.com. Not only does Scott own the premier Hollywood death tour in Los Angeles, but his show "Hollywood Death Trip" just premiered on E! Entertainment Television. Scott is an expert on many things, but tonight we will be talking about some of the more macabre stories of Hollywood murders including the Manson Family murders. As if that wasn't enough, we will then be joined by Frankenstein. No, not the man... the band! The guys from www.frankensteintheband.com will be stopping by to share with us some creepy ghost stories and even creepier music.
Bringing you the absolute worst in macabre entertainment and web talk radio... guaranteed!

Mark is a freelance (more free than lance) writer, with several published articles and essays to his credit as a journalist; an unpublished novel entitled 'Saved By Miranda', an unpublished collection of short stories, and is currently working on his third screenplay, 'Family Values' a HILARIOUS film that explores the insidious and heinous impact the Manson Family still exploits with disillusioned masses. Despite being encouraged (ok, harassed) to take his unstable brand of humor to stand up, he prefers the anonymity of facebook (sorry, he means the endlessly rewarding joys of facebook)...and cutting. Currently single; Mark spends much of his non writing time helping to improve the lives of Detroit area kids in need, but has no kids of his own besides his pitbull Cosmo Kramer, and lives near Ann Arbor, Michigan in an underground storage tank.
Afro-Jersey was formed in 2008 when old friends Terre Roche and Sidiki Conde began to write songs together in both English and Mandingo just for fun. Terre Roche is best known for being one of The Roches. She has worked with Paul Simon, Laurie Anderson, Was Not Was, Philip Glass, Kathy Mattea, Meredith Monk and the Indigo Girls to name a few. She sang the role of Squeaky Fromme in John Moran's opera, The Manson Family. She was one of the soloists on Robert Fripp's album "Exposure". In 1998 she put out a solo CD, "The Sound of a Tree Falling". Terre collaborated with jazz pianist Garry Dial on the 2008 release "Us an'Them", a collection of national anthems from around the world featuring musicians from the countries all of whom were living in New York City. From 2002 to the present, Terre has led the popular "Sunset Singing Circle", a Battery Parks City sponsored singalong which takes place in May and June. Currently she is the musical coordinator for Lanny Harrison's "Characters in Motion" class at the New York Shambhala Center and has been a featured artist in Mark Lamb Dance's spectacular multi-media salons, featuring music, dance and spoken word performances. Terre Roche, Sidiki Conde, and Marlon Cherry, a/k/a Afro-Jersey, sing in both the English and Mandingo languages.

NWP welcomes the soulful jazz sounds of Alvin Fisher. In 2005, while working his “day job” at XM Satellite Radio as Director of Information Technology, Alvin Fisher was invited by a host of his musical friends to strut his musical stuff and play his flute before hundreds of people on a popular Smooth Jazz Cruise. All but stealing the show from A-list headliners Norman Brown, Michael Manson, Bobby Lyle, Candy Dulfer, Nick Colionne and Brian Culbertson, the Washington, DC born and raised musician rediscovered the early musical dreams he set aside when he launched a successful 30-year career as an IT manager. Now charting on billboard and performing with the best musicians jazz has to offer, Alvins risk leaving IT has paid off and he is living his dream! "Creative covers, mixed with tight and magical originals, this music washes over your soul and sinks into your pours".
Alvin has played with the best and is considered one of the best, jazz has to offer. His tribute to the Memphis Underground will make you dance with delight.www.alvinfisherband.com www.northwestprime.com
