Revolutionizing the hair industry one step at a time, with education being the foundation on all ends.
We need everyone on board for the greater good, this show and radio station is for anyone. Even if this isnt your passion or even your industry, we all get our hair styled, cut, colored, etc. and those are the ones that matter most because they are affected 1st hand by the education or lack there of in the faciltiy that they choose to frequent.
Remeber when the salon and barbersho used to be a place to go and relax, get community information, and feel like your getting pampered by family because the passion, care and love for what we do is so strong. Now that seems to be hard to find. Why?
Mane Attraction is here to enlighten clients and help educate stylist and barbers by providing our expertise but more so resources, promotiing networking and knowledge sharing on more than just hair but communication skills, finance management, marketing etc.
Mane Attraction's mission has been to "fill the void" and "contribute to revolutionizing the hair industry" since it was foundded in 2008, and has not been detered since. The passion we have for the hair industry is truely genuine and we want to share what we have learned over the last 20 years and try to prevent a lot of the senseless mishaps in salons, barber shops, and school nationwide.

Wus good Fam! on this episode of Musick Monday we welcome Special Guest Memphis Rapper "Skool Boy" aka "@SB_Surfs Up" who is set to become the next big thing from the South. Skool Boy’s back-to-basics approach using thoughtful subject matter over head-banging beats have launched him into the national spotlight. As one of North Memphis’ most gifted entertainers and songwriter’s, Skool Boy’s intelligence, lovable personality and energetic positivity are what set him apart from the rest.
Hailing from Memphis, TN, Skool Boy recognized his love for music at age 14. After losing a baseball tournament, the young artist took to freestyling as a coping mechanism to release tension. It was the beginning of a new passion for creating music. Known for being wise beyond his years, with an outgoing personality to match, Skool Boy became an instant favorite among his peers. He began street event promotions for Money by Da Pound during his high school years. He later garnered the attention of Hunter Promotions. As a street team promoter for the company, Skool Boy experienced his first taste of fame, rubbing shoulders with artists like Gucci Mane, Young Jeezy, Plies, Soulja Boy, Franchise Boyz and Roscoe Dash. Hunter Promotions later helped Skool Boy release his first song titled “Ride Swerve” at age 18. Skool Boy realized this was the life he wanted to live and the only difference between him and these popular artists, was financial support and exposure.
