SODA: STOP Offshore Drilling in the Atlantic

    in Spirituality

SODA: STOP Offshore Drilling in the Atlantic with Peg Howell

Today we will be discussing oil drilling in the Atlantic.  The risks associated with the development of offshore drilling are significantly greater than the potential economic benefits:

Claims about jobs and revenues attributed to offshore oil and gas development are grossly overestimated.
Seismic survey results are proprietary for 25+ years.  Information NOT shared with the public. Pending seismic surveys are not state of the art technology
Drilling is not safe, hasn't been since BP blowout and recent Cailfornia oil on beach event.
Oil and gas exist together; you can't explore for gas only.

Peg is currently a resident of North Litchfield Beach, SC has a BS in Petroleum Engineering, cum laude, Marietta College, did Graduate coursework in petroleum engineering and economics, Louisiana State University and has a MBA, Harvard Business School, 1984

Dadio's Lunch Bucket Radio Clinic #83 - a "Hey Ya' Big Jerk Productions" gig

    in Current Events

    DADIO'S LUNCH BUCKET RADIO CLINIC: Show 83 - Tuesday,  2 June 2015, 2:30 p.m.

Live again this week..., our 83nd show over all on Janesville Community Radio ..., and ...., and the boys are back to do a show from Studio 54 1/2 down on Main Street in downtown Janesville, Wisconsin...., or at least what the hell is left of the aforementioned city..., and what's left of the Dadio for that matter.

Also, find us on Ustream Internet TV.     http://www.ustream.tv/channel/dadio-s-lunch-bucket-radio-clinic

Dadio's Lunch Bucket has a little bit of everything. Live from the MY OFFICE JVL building, and sometimes on the road at local taverns and coffee shops, the Radio Clinic risks the perils of ad hoc radio. There is a working class blue-collar theme with local and regional interests that weave through the show. Some college degrees are mixed in. And, all along the way they try to give a voice to those ignored by the status quo.  Somehow, they entertain us all in the process.

Segments include but are not limited to:  Word Phrase; Fish Fry; Quiz; Blue-Collar Jobs; Wisconsin War Casualties; News and Comment; and..., Burgers.

You need to ask Dadio and his crew some questions..., the man comes with his own support group that is prepared and ready to pull him out of the holes he invariably digs himself into!

Call the show, play the quiz, win, make Dadio buy you a beverage at a local watering hole!
