We're back to start another fun filled week on Free State Radio. Here's what we discuss
- Ben Affleck had a wonderful appearance on Bill Maher's show. Much criticism occurred after. We discuss
- MSNBC panel claims even proposing Ebola travel ban is racist

Another reminder of why I won't join the liberal team.
I'm too far left for the left and Uppity Negrotarianism is for me.
Now where's my goblet?!
What happens when life doesn't go exactly as you plan? Do you get angry and tell the Universe, "Forget it"? Do you shake your fist at God? Do you stumble beyond it and find a way to get to your purpose anyway?
Malana Ashlie, Ph.D, has had her plans derailed many times during her life, most recently over the past year. She has learned about the stumbling blocks and had a recent aha moment that helped her move around them. She will share with the Purpose Talk Radio audience on Monday, Sept. 8, noon PDT/3 p.m. EDT/8 p.m. UK what she discovered and how it helped her.
Malana is a holistic healer, mystic /metaphysician and award winning author. She has been helping people find peace and wellbeing by recognizing the root cause of problems for 20 years. Her workshops explore Universal Principles as they pertain to health, wellness and the evolution of spirit. Besides her formal education her teachers include elders of traditional cultures; Hawaiian, Garifuna, Lakota and Mayan. The books, workshops and consultations she offers are a blending of wisdoms that support an important message of oneness and connection.
Each Monday at 12 noon PST/3 pm EST/8 pm UK, our host, Cindy Freeman, and her guests bring insights and ideas to help you grow in your Soul path. Cindy's guests are experts on living their life with a purpose and are willing to share with listeners how they got there and how others might benefit from their experience. Experienced political consultant and advisor, as well as former Chair of the Republican Party Of Minnesota, joins Bill and John at the top of the hour.
At the bottom of the hour, John Rouleau, Executive Director of the Minnesota Jobs Coaliton, talks about what it was like to be a voice of reason on the panel
for Bill Maher's "Flip A District" last week.
In between, Bill and John calmly, fearlessly talk about the mental health of Gov. Mark Dayton, how local media have already gone into pushing defensive "nothing to see here" puff pieces.
We don't shout.™

I was honored to be featured on the Tim Danahey Show. We discussed the 2014 Midterm Election which was a mitigated disaster, a slaughter. Over the last few days Bill Maher spoke about the timidity of Democrats running away from the President. Jon Stewart had great skit about Democrats not running on the Democratic successes. Jimmy Williams spoke about the failure of Democrats to speak to dissected White Southerners.
We did not only discuss the pain caused by the results of the election. We discussed solutions. These solutions will be successful if we begin now. It will take a lot of work but it is essential in order to move forward.
Egberto Willies is a highly-respected national radio show host and political blogger with a constructive analysis of election results. One-sixth of all American eligible voters chose Republican candidates and the nation’s political landscape has changed. What can we now expect from Republicans? What do the Democrats need to do? Has the effect of money in politics completely changed governance in America? Most important: What must we the citizens do?
The interview starts at 26 Minutes 57 second mark
I was honored to be on KPFT Open Journal with KPFT General Manager Duane Bradley and Marlo Blue. Both were feeling the pain of the slaughter that Democrats and Progressives took in the 2014 Midterm election.
We discussed what happened here in Texas as well as throughout the country. We discussed possible solutions to get more progressives elected.
Democrats need to start acting like Democrats instead of attempting to be Republican lite. Citizens need to know who they are voting for. They need to know that there is a difference. Otherwise they feel there is no reason to spend the time to vote.
Over the last few days Bill Maher spoke about the timidity of Democrats running away from the President. Jon Stewart had great skit about Democrats not running on the Democratic successes. Jimmy Williams spoke about the failure of Democrats to speak to dissected White Southerners.
