Feona Sharhran Huff is the Publisher & CEO of Solo Mommy Magazine, a monthly publication dedicated to empowering single moms with savvier ways to live a simpler life. Through her magazine, she also produces an Annual Mother’s Day Brunch & “You Go, Mom!” Awards Program, in which she honors single moms for being the epitome of strength, tenacity, savviness, and fortitude.
After constantly observing the “hustle & flow” life that single moms oftentimes live – herself included -- she was inspired to produce “The State of the Solo Mommy Address.” It’s a panel-led discussion that addresses six key issues that single moms face, including having a financial backup plan, raising a boy to be a man, balancing life and estate planning. She launched her first conference on October 22, 2011 in New York City. Her second conference will take place in her hometown of South Hampton Roads VA in October 2013. Additionally, Feona facilitates parenting workshops that provide empowerment, resources and solutions, including “Can You Hear Me Now” © (communication between mom and child), “Mirror Mirror” © (self-esteem), “Relax, Relate, Release – Right Now”© (balance) and “I’m Writing My Vision and Making It Plain” (vision for future).

Tina’s career has always had one major focus – to assist her sister friends in reconnecting with the woman who has lain dormant. Through what could only be described as the Zen quality inherent within, Tina uses her intuitive abilities to connect with women of all ages, nationalities and spiritual denominations and provides them with the resources to obtain inner peace. One of her favorite quotes is “When you feel good internally, it is exuded externally. No make-up required.”
Tina’s commitment to empowering women to make transformations stems from her experiences in the corporate world of executive offices. She has played a key role in maintaining executive operations at several well-known organizations, including Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, Black Enterprise Magazine and Johnson & Johnson.
NaTasha Rector is married with 3 beautiful kids. 16 yr old son, 13 yr old son, & an a 8 yr old daughter. I’ve always had a passion creating a successful business. As a child I played business instead of school. Lol I would grab my mom’s typewriter and shorthand books and type contracts, marketing material, and even came up with membership dues. Had NO idea that God was preparing me. As a young adult I joined Mary Kay, Prepaid Legal, Avon, Metaluca, Big Beauty Bar, etc. But I could NOT justify working for someone who had a passion like I did, to create wealth for them selves. I was helping them to become rich. So I decided to take the leap!
