Encouragement & Inspiration Let's Talk About It, Then Pray About It "I wish you enough sun to keep your attitude bright. I wish you enough rain to appreciate the sun more. I wish you enough happiness to keep your spirit alive. I wish you enough pain so that the smallest joys in life appear much bigger. I wish you enough gain to satisfy your wanting. I wish you enough loss to appreciate all that you possess. I wish you enough hellos to get you through the final good-bye.” In the immortal musical words of Donnie Hathaway. For all we know we may never meet again before you go make this moment sweet again we won't say goodnight until the last minute. I'll hold out my hand and my heart will be in it. For all we know this may only be a dream we come and we go like the ripples of a stream. So love me, love me tonight tomorrow was made for some tomorrow may never come for all we know. 3 John 2

Singer-songwriter Candice Russell released her debut album, So Much More (Reflect Records), in 2013, which has led to a wide variety of requests from across the nation. But when Make-A-Wish Oregon contacted the American Idol (Season 11) alumni to help fulfill the wish of a young fan in her hometown of Portland, Candice immediately said yes.
Seven year-old Baybeblue Campobasso always dreamed of starring in a music video, and thanks to Make-A-Wish Oregon, that dream has come true with the just-released music video for Candice Russell’s song, “So Much More” - which stars “Blue” and her family. Watch the video here: http://youtu.be/gYoCbV1eVNA.
Blue, who is battling a severe neuromuscular disorder and relies on a wheelchair, loves watching music videos on YouTube and swaying to the rhythm, says her mom, Cyndy Ledoux, and the healing properties of music bring her joy.
Candice has handled more than a few obstacles of her own. As a teenager, she was diagnosed with Graves' Disease, an immune system disorder similar to hyperthyroidism. She received treatment, but medications led to complications. And while she still deals with challenges as a result, she's determined not to let it hold her back. The songs on her debut album reflect major moments in her journey, which haven't always been easy.

The Children’s Wish Foundation approached lovely thirteen-year old Maddison Babineau just after she received her cancer diagnosis. “You can have anything,” they told her, “a Disney cruise? The chance to meet your favorite movie star? A five thousand dollar shopping spree?”
Maddie knew exactly what she wanted. She had recently been moved to tears after watching a television program about the plight of orphaned children in an African village. Maddie’s wish? To ease the suffering of these children half-way across the world. Despite the ravishing cancer, she became an indefatigable fundraiser for “her children.”Parenting styles can be very different, but one thing that parents all have in common is that they want success for their children. Parents want their children to do well in school, to succeed on the field or the stage, to find loyal friends, to go to college, to find an exciting career, to make a big salary, to own their own home, to find the partner of their dreams, and to raise an amazing family of their own. Parents want success for their children.
Food give-a-way, and the wish list for Christmas!

Janicka Bassis was born in Chicago from Czechoslovakian Immigrants. Her mother Melanie Everet was one of the first women in commercial real estate in America and she taught her four daughters that there was no such a thing as a glass ceiling and that only stars were the limits. Janicka studied at the prestigious Sophia University, Tokyo Japan and went also to the French National School Beaux Arts in Paris and received a scholarship from the Art Institute of Chicago.
Janicka's dream was to be a portrait artist. Unfortunately her husband fell ill and she became the sole bread winner of the family. After 7 years spent in the hotel industry specialising in the Japanese Market she followed the trails of her mother and started her very successful real estate career in 1987. She became one of the first Women Directors in France to sell commercial French Real Estate to the International Market. She created the first real estate transaction department in a French bank in 1993 and sold the then largest shopping center in France. She also created the first investment department for Foncia Entreprise as well as a family real estate fund with her sister in Vienna, Austria . Her Internet career began in 2012 when she was asked to develop a real estate social network for Institutional investors called Belbex where she worked for 2 years as International Development Director. Janicka enjoyed learning about start ups and Internet technology.
She blazed the trail for other young women to enter that profession. She has been enjoying helping women for 25 years now which is also why she founded W.W.I.R.E the World Women In Real Estate network.
Janicka lives in Paris, she speaks fluently French and Japanese and is now looking forward to learning Chinese.
