Psychotherapy and Healing with Luc Watelet
Mainstream psychotherapy follows the medical and scientific paradigms.
1) Diagnose and treat diseases
2) Use therapeutic theories which have been proven to work on average.
It relies mainly on psychotropic medication and cognitive behavioral therapies as though the inner world depended on the outside world. The work is about maintenance and functionality of the help seeker. We can do much better. So this becomes an ethical question to therapists. We need to remember that diseases are symptoms of a disconnect from an internal process. This opens the door to a different approach: Working with this internal process.
The healing work guides us to 2 realizations: 1) Connecting with the real person heals: diseases simply lessen or disappear, and 2) Mindfulness helps you connect with the internal process, what Luc Watelet calls the “real person” without filters while using accepted theories adds an extra unnecessary filter/distance between therapists and clients.

It was at noon, and the children were shepherding sheep. Suddenly there was lightening, and the children, thinking that it was going to rain, began to run. Then, just above a holm oak tree, they saw a beautiful lady made of light, holding a rosary in her hand.
Our Lady of Fatima spoke to the children and told them not to be afraid. "I come from Heaven," she said. The oldest of the children was Lucía who was ten years old. She asked Our Lady of Fatima, "Will I go to Heaven?" "Yes," Our Lady of Fatima answered. "And Jacinta," who was her seven-year-old cousin, "Will she go to heaven too?" "Yes," answered Our Lady of Fatima. "And Francisco," the brother of Jacinta who was nine years old, "Will he go to Heaven?" "Yes," answered Our Lady of Fatima, but he will have to say many rosaries."

Michel Luc Bellemare (PhD) is an artist in Ottawa, Canada.
Artistic Style: My artistic statement via my art is nothing less than to revolutionize the way people see and think about art and what an artist consists of. It is for this reason that I have not limited my self to simply painting but as well to writing. As art these days requires that the artist is able to conceptualize his or her place in art history both in practice and in thinking, hence, why I paint and I write books. My latest book: Color-Realism: (The Essence of Color and Reality) is located in the National Gallery of Canada’s library as a testament to my philosophy of color and my art. My artistic style is that of glittering abstract paintings in the format of a new painting technique called Color-Realism, which brings to the forefront the analysis of color and its effects. Color-Realism is based on the notion that color is the basic language of human emotions and ideational concepts that construct our mind. The style is a supra-impasto technique in the form of thickly applied paint with a layer of glitter, which makes the painting radiate, and gives the painting movement in the sense that as the viewer walks around the painting the image actually changes, change the lighting and so does the image, which may be the first time in the history of painting that such an effect is possible as with colorrealism paintings the image is now dynamic and multi-dimensional, rather than static as previous art has been. This is a first for modern art. Visit: http://fineartamerica.com/profiles/michel-luc-bellemare.html
