    A little about Jean:


    Jean started playing golf at the age of 12 and credits her father, Gil McNally and Ken Peknic as the individuals most influencing her career...Has one sister...Enjoys all sports, tennis, basketball, working out and discussing politics and society...Elected to the LPGA Player Executive Committee for the 2006-08 seasons…Qualified for the Tour on her second attempt.


    Five Things You Should Know About Jean Bartholomew:


    1. She played four years of golf at Duke University but was also recruited by other schools to play basketball and field hockey. She was a 1,000-point scorer for Garden City High on Long Island and was an All-Nassau County field hockey player. “Back then there was not much more after college you could do with the other two.”


    2. Jean is a politics junkie and majored in Sociology and Economics in college.


    3. You won’t find her watching any reality TV and says her go-to shows are sports or political shows.


    4. In addition to golf, she loves to play tennis.


    5. Her first golf coach in New York, Gil McNally, still comes down to work with her when he’s using his winter home near PGA National.

    Today on the BeachLifestyle Radio Show, Host Neil Haley and the rest of the BeachLifestyle Crew will be live on set in Pittsburgh, PA. We are live on set at the Andy Russell's Annual Charity Golf Tournament! Please welcome Missie Berteotti to our show!

    Missie was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and attended the University of Miami (Florida) on a golf scholarship. While at the University of Miami in 1980, Berteotti led her Miami Hurricane team to win the NCAA Championships by tying for  the medalist honors in the event.

    After graduating with a degree in Finance, Missie qualified on her first attempt for the LPGA tour. In her 7th season, she recorded her first victory in 1993, winning the Ping Welch's Classic in Boston. After touring and playing for 14 years, Berteotti decided to focus on coaching golf and spending more time at home with her family and newborn son.

    Her career earnings had exceeded the $1 million mark. During her career, Missie had worked with many golf coaches and fitness trainers to seek improved performance. She sought the tutelage of Dr. Bob Rotella for many years to hone her ability to focus and trust. In her years since the tour, she continues to study and learn in the game of golf and performance. Her skills are further rounded out in her studying of yoga, fitness, and golf psychology.

Debbie was recognized by Golf Digest as one of the Top 50 Women Teachers in America in 2010 & 2012. She won the 2007 Nancy Lopez Golf Achievement Award,  the 2002 LPGA National Professional of the Year Award and the 2002 LPGA Southeast Section Professional of the Year.

    Welcome to the "Women of Golf Show!"


    Joining Cindy & I this week: LPGA Master Professional - Alison Curdt.


    Here's a little about Alison:


    Alison is a PGA Master Professional in Instruction and a LPGA Class A Member. Being one of 10 women to achieve the highest PGA credential earned by an instructor, Alison has over 25 years of golf competition background and played on a full scholarship at Florida State University while earning degrees in Psychology and Professional Golf Management. After turning professional in 2004, Alison moved to Palm Springs to begin her teaching and professional playing career while working at top resorts and clubs in the desert. In 2007, she arrived at Sherwood Country Club as the Teaching Professional and First Assistant and spent seven years overseeing all programs related to men, women and juniors, in addition to running, coordinating and teaching camps and clinics. In 2012 she was voted by her LPGA peers as the Western Section Teacher of the Year. Alison opened her own instructional business in 2014 and currently teaches at Angeles National Golf Club in the Los Angeles area.


    Later in the program, were joined by Legends Tours CEO - Jane Blalock on what's up and coming for 2015.

    Kathy Knadler Talks About "LPGA Girls Golf"

    Join us for a replay of a conversation with Kathy Knadler about the Girls Golf program.


    Kathy was born and raised in Colorado and played in the Colorado Women's Golf Association junior program. She was the 1986 Colorado State Stroke Play and Match Play Junior Champion and the 1988 Colorado State Amateur Champion.

    She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in teaching from the University of Wyoming while competing on the UW Women's Golf Team. Her collegiate golf accomplishments include two-first place finishes, 3 top ten conference finishes and one year as an Academic All-American.

    Kathy was a Physical Education and Health teacher and golf instructor in Northern Colorado prior to moving to Phoenix in 1995. She has served as Director of the LPGA-USGA Girls Golf of Phoenix program since 1997, Secretary of the Junior Golf Association Board of Directors from 1999-2007, has achieved Class A status as a PGA Golf Professional and Class A status as an LPGA Teaching Professional.


    Joinn us as we discuss the benefits of having your young daughter involved in learning and playing golf.

    Janet Anderson LPGA Open Chamopion

    Aguila Pro Janet Anderson, played on the LPGA Tour from 1978-1997, winning the U.S. Women's Open in 1982 by 6 shots and had 52 top-10 finishes during her LPGA Career. Janet continues to play on the Women's Senior Golf Tour and enjoys working in public golf and running Aguila Golf Course.
    We will visit with Janet about her varied and interesting career in golf in what will prove to be an enjoyable conversation.
    Plus, Rule of the Day w/ Kirk Getsinger.
