    Music to Steer

    in Self Help

Welcome to Music 4 Life® Radio where we practice healing Mind, Body and Spirit by transforming B.S. (Belief Systems)™ to support healthy lifestyles!  September's theme of ReSet, ReAlign, BeginAgain is explored with host Judith Pinkerton, licensed music therapist, mother, wife, daughter and founder of Music 4 Life, and her special guest Norine Rathbone.

At Music 4 Life®, music is the core of all that we do, connecting you to the Life of your Spirit through the Life of your Senses with a favorite composer Ludwig Van Beethoven's quote: "Music is the Mediator betweeen the Life of the Senses and the Life of the Spirit."  So what does that mean, and how do we transform belief systems? We plug you into yourself differently with music at the core, discovering that when you push play on music you find out how the music is really playing you. We support you being responsible for the choices you make to create a healthy lifestyle, connecting you to the Life of your Spirit through the Life of your Senses.

Today's music choices are explored to understand how we use music to steer the game of life. Find our music recommendations and Judith's commentary at Music4LifeBLOG.

Learn how your personal music listening habits may affect your desire to connect with others in Judith's TEDxTalk "Music Powers Potential."

    in Music

SHOW #289 – Live, Uncut & Uncensored Conversations With “Musicians You Should Know”

Heather Crosse has been performing for 31 years.  Bassist for Heavy Suga' & The SweeTones, in 2008, Heather moved to Clarksdale, Mississippi to follow her Blues dreams & play bass for Super Chikan. This past year, Heather spent touring in the Girls With Guitars Tour for Ruf Records.  Her new album is entitled Groovin’ At The Crosse Roads.  I will speak with Heather about her life, career and music.

Billy Evanochko is also known as Billy The Kid and he and his band The Regulators have been wowing audiences for years.  Out of the Pittsbugh, PA area, they have earned their way to the IBC twice, in 2008 and again in 2014.  Their new album is I Can’t Change and Billy finally takes a seat on the Monday Couch to talk about his life and career.

Guitarist, singer, and songwriter Chris Gill has been lighting up stages in the mid-South for over twenty years. Armed with sweet guitar rhythms, a soulful voice and a clever, unique songwriter’s perspective, Chris is well known as one of Jackson, Mississippi’s most entertaining performers. One of his projects is with the sensational Derrick L Martin, known as D’Mar. They have just released Take It Like That and I will chat with Chris about his career, his partnership with D’Mar and the new music.

Couch Kid New Music features Sugar Brown and his new album, Poor Lazarus.  I’ll speak with Sugar and find out what he has been up to since he first sat on The Couch back on March 31, 2014 while we check out tunes from the album.

Favor Life , The Process Of There............................

    in Spirituality

Favor Life is a 15 minute radio empowerment segment designed to encourage the Christian Believer in their walk of faith and trust everyday through life situations and circumstance. The goal of this radio broadcast is to spiritually empower each believer in their process of growing and maturing in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ daily. For the Christian Believer ,who is in this world but operate and live in a different system of faith , we learn to manifest the glory of the Lord in our everyday life by faith , trust and obedience to God's Word. The journey of faith and trust is one that is to be enjoyed as we walk in the victory, purpose and destiny of our process to "there". Our "there" place is the place of our making that expresses the identity and character of Jesus Christ to a world who does not see or know Christ unless we show Him even in the conflicts that we face in our everyday life. So join in as we go through the process of "there" and see the favor of our King in everyday life on "Favor Life".
