June's topic on Waves of Glory will be Self-Esteem.Join us Tuesday mornings at 10:00am - 10:30am, eastern.
Self-esteem has less to do with what others think of you and more to do with what you discern about yourself. When we find our identity in him, we discover that we are fearfully and wonderfully made. We find that we were designed for a specific purpose and equipped to succeed. Everything about us is beautiful and powerful. We are powerful beyond our imagination. Today, we learn to fight back, to stand up, and to speak out. It's time for you to shine like never before. Marianne Williamson has a poem that we will address this week that speaks to this very core issue that all of us must attend to.
On today’s Faith Time with Faye Nicole Hines we will talk about confidence and low self-esteem. Ever heard the scripture, “For as he thinks in his heart, so is he” (Proverbs 23:7). Well this verse is more than true. What you think about yourself, good or bad, is affecting your life in ways you can’t imagine.

If you're struggling with low self-esteem, weight loss can be a real challenge. Feelings of "not good enough" and years of judgment and criticism can leave you feeling inadequate and powerless to make the changes you desire to lose weight.
Our early childhood experiences play such an important role in developing our sense of worthiness. If you were raised in an environment of negativity and criticism, chances are you self-esteem and self-confidence are very low. In addition to weight issues, you may face challenges in other areas of your life such as relationships, jobs, and even spirituality. One person I worked with recently has a hard time believing that even God (her higher power) could possibly love her.
Join us for this powerful tapping session and learn how to tune in to what the real issues are behind your emotional eating and excess weight. In addition to tapping we'll spend time balancing the solar plexus chakra.

Self-Esteem is so incredibly important to our growth as a human being. Quite often this delicate part of us can be shattered by careless words or deeds from someone who supposedly loved us. If this occurs when we are very young or at any stage of our life, it can change the course of our lives from that point on. We can become very introverted, shy, withdrawn and fearful of speaking, being heard or just plain being. It can affect every area of our life making us feel very unworthy of much of anything.
What can we do when we realize what is going on! By just acknowledging that you have no “self-esteem” within, and accepting that fact, you are already on a forward motion to recovery. We will share ideas on what you can do to bring yourself back home to your “true self” so you can create the life you have always dreamed of. A’ho.
Come join us as we look at self-esteem and begin to build ours collectively. The talking stick is now YOURS! Come join us and share your thoughts - or just listen.
We thank all our listeners for truly “being” the shows we air.

Chief Yuya builds on the idea of Self Esteem in this segment. He teaches how improper self evalutation can lead to a distorted sense of self which later destroys our self confidence. Our self worth is an intrinsic value that is determined by our own personal reference points. Ouur self eseteem is a by product of our achievements. Chief Yuya explains this and more in this segment.
