em·pa·thy - noun \'em-p?-the\ : the feeling that you understand and share another person's experiences and emotions : the ability to share someone else's feelings.
One of the traits common to healers is some degree of empathy. As everything holds both light and shadow, the ability to feel the emotions of others as if they are your own can be both a gift and a hindrance. While empathy can enhance the connection between a practitioner and a person receiving healing work, it can also leave the healer open to a flood of emotions that can be at best disruptive and at worst disabling.
EMPATHY CAN BE MANAGED!
On today's episode, we'll explore learning how you can transform empathy from a reflex to a choice. will share exercises that will enable you to not only decide if your empathy is needed, but also choose how much empathy you need for each situation!
This week we will be highlighting two of the premier open wheel organizations in the area. TSRS (Tri-State Race Saver) 305 Sprint cars and the ARDC (American Racing Drivers Club) open-wheel midget cars. Both of these clubs will be participating in several combined shows at the Grandview Speedway this year.
First up will be TSRS with the latest winner from this past Friday night Karl Freyer. Karl was the winner at Bridgeport Speedway. He has had a long racing career and will be full of great stories. Also joining Karl will be Mares Stellfox from TSRS talking about what is coming up this season.
Next we will have ARDC with their latest winner from this weekend Steven Drevicki. Steve got to victory lane at the New Egypt Speedway in the clubs opening event. Also joining Steve will be Deb Smith from ARDC who will outline the clubs 75th Anniversary season.
Highly sensitive people or Empaths are often very Other focused.
Being sensative to other people's vibrations or emotions can make being around other people a challenge, which can make being around the Empath a challenge too!
You may be sensitive and aware of other people's energies but every Empath or Clairsentient person I have every known has needed to learn some energy hygeine techniques to better own their own space.
It is imporant that you be a safe place for you to be!
Being comfortable in your own skin may not feel like it "comes naturally" but that can be unlearned so that it is natural for you to be/feel comforatble in your own skin.
Thee work needs you to be who you really are, sensive and all. In this show we'll explore some things that you can do to help yourself be more comfy in your own skin today.
And - there will be time for you to call in for a message from your Guides! Call 213-943-3511! Tell your friends!
