LOTL The Quiet Storm Welcomes The Southern Hummingbird TWEET . Debut her new Single ( Enough )
Tweet burst on the music scene in 2002 with a boldness and sensuality that made people quickly pay attention. Her first single, “Oops (Oh My)” climbed to the top of the R&B/Hip-Hop charts and made the industry take notice with her sultry lyrics and hypnotic voice. Her look, her sound and her sexiness set new standards in the industry and all eyes were on her.
Her follow-up single was the incredibly seductive “Call Me,” which again landed in the R&B/Hip-Hop Top 10 and garnered her an accompanying Verizon commercial. Her platinum selling debut album Southern Hummingbird , also spawned the fan favorites “Smoking Cigarettes,” “Motel” and “Boogie 2nite.” Tweet ’ s effortlessly classic voice and innate ability to interpret songs quickly solidified her place in the industry.
Tweet ’ s 2005 album It ’ s Me Again , led by the single “Turn of Da Lights,” gave her yet another Top 5 album. As with her previous album, she masterfully showcased her vocals on songs like “My Man” and “I’m Done.” The album peaked at No.2 on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop charts but faired better critically than commercially.
Every so often an artist emerges that captures our attention, makes us sit up and take note of what pure talent and anointing looks and sounds like. Jessica Reedy is truly one of those artists … one listen and you will never forget the voice.
Jessica Reedy first came to our attention on the national TV competition BET’s Sunday Best. She attended the Season 2 Sunday Best audition in Washington DC on a whim to support a friend. She quickly found herself in the Top 20 onto the show’s main stage performing for judges Mary Mary and Bebe Winans. Reedy made it all the way to finals eventually being named runner up. Throughout that process and the subsequent loss, self-doubt crept in. While Reedy never thought she had the talent to make it, God used the totality of the experience to bring her into her call as both an artist and minister of music.
“My insecurities, my fears, my guilt and pain were all brought before me – the things I thought I had let go. I learned so much about myself during and after Sunday Best. I learned how little my faith was in God and His abilities … in spite of my shortcomings God still proved HIMSELF to me,” said Reedy. “I started discovering how much HE Loved me, cared for me, and how HE thought of me as HIS beloved. I learned how much I didn’t know about myself.”“The Sunday Best experience changed me tremendously,” she continued. “Being on the Show allowed me to see God like never before … He used the Show to teach me what it really meant when He said ‘I’ll never leave you nor forsake you.’ It marked the beginning of my in depth search to know Christ and why He loves me so much.”

They say things are bigger in Texas, but in the case of songstress Mélat, big things come in small packages. Her music seems to carry an other-worldly sound. Based out of San Antonio and Austin, her talents are flourishing and it is apparent on her latest release, Daphne, from her upcoming project Canon Ourania: The Illumination EP. Her debut EP Canon Aphaea, released in November of 2012. Since then, the EP, with lyrical concepts rooted in soul, love, dance, and inner strength, has been drawing attention to the up and coming star. The production perfectly encapsulates Mélat's airy almost gypsy-like vibe and aura, and her powerful yet smooth vocal ability keeps the listener?drawn into her message. It is safe to say that the future is looking bright for this songstress.
It's been said that the most brilliant writers have experienced the most tragedy, and from the pain of their past experiences they are transformed into poets who paint pictures with words. Khari is a living testimony to this truth! Born and raised in Oakland, California, he first began writing poetry as a young child while living in foster homes. Poetry was his therapy, an outlet that allowed him to purge his mind of the pain he endured as a youth.
His transition from literary poet to spoken word artist occurred during the summer of 2006, when he began performing at open mics and winning several poetry slams hosted by Hot Water Cornbread. His keen intellect, passionate flow and delivery, powerful voice and brazen lyrics quickly distinguished him from many other performance poets and spoken word artists. He exploded onto the Spoken word poetry scene during the summer of 2006 after performing at Mouth Off (a spoken word poetry venue held at Oakland's Air Lounge every Wednesday). He also began participating in the local poetry slam scene in 2006. Now, three years later, he's published a best selling poetry book, releasing over 20,000 spoken word mixtapes and performed at some of the top spoken word venues in the country, including Spoken Soul Sessions in New Orleans during the Essence Music Festival, Nuyorican Poets Café in New York, Soul Cypher in Oakland and Cafe Nuba in Denver. Within a three year period, he's performed at over 100 different venues and is currently in high demand to perform and feature at major spoken word events.
In 2014, Khari released his sophomore spoken word album, "Through Thick and Thin." He also released a book, "Curvy and Confident," a self-empowerment guide for women. Curvy and Confident is the first book ever written by a man to help women overcome low self-confidence, negative body image, and insecurities

LOTL The Quiet Storm Welcomes Adesha. Debut 2 New Singles ( I Love You I Hate You ) & (He Don't Know ) From Her upcoming Album.Powerful, sultry, dynamic, and moving are just a few words people have used to describe Adesha’s voice. ? Oakland, California native, Adesha made her solo debut singing for hundreds of people at The War Memorial Opera House in San Francisco at the tender age of six. By age ten she had starred and co-starred in musicals, she sang a jingle for a commercial, and had performed solo at a few of San Francisco’s live music venues. Years of training from singing in church; vocal coaching from her mother Deltrina Johnson, a trained gospel singer; and numerous live performances would follow the training she received in her primary years. At age 13 Adesha joined a girl group called “Under 21”. The trio spent most of their high school career performing and in the recording studio. At age 16 Adesha embarked upon a spiritual journey that would change the course of her future. Being famous was no longer her life’s goal. She wanted her music to make a difference; she wanted her music to change lives. This decision would lead to Adesha leaving “Under 21”. The resistance she experienced from her cohorts, management, and peers as a result of her decision sent Adesha into a bit of a depression. She would spend the next 4 years soul searching and took hiatus from singing.
