Tonight on Alchemist Radio, hosts Mitch Ciccarelli and Bryan Levick will speak to the brand new World Series of Fighting bantamweight champion Marlon Moraes, TUF 19 competitor and fellow Long Islander, Eddie “Truck” Gordon and 2013 coach of the year, Duane Ludwig.
Saturday night in Las Vegas, Moraes chopped down Josh Rettinghouse with some nasty leg kicks and put together some nice combinations to become the first WSOF bantamweight champion. Moraes has now won seven fights in a row and is 5-1 in the WSOF. At 25-years-old the future looks extremely bright for Moares.
Gordon trains alongside UFC fighters Al Iaquinta, Gian Villante and UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman at the Serra/Longo gym. Gordon possesses a 6-1 record and has fought primarily for the New Jersey based Ring of Combat promotion. You can see Gordon alongside all of the other UFC hopefuls beginning April 16. The coaches are former UFC lightweight and welterweight champion BJ Penn and the man who won the lightweight title from him, Frankie Edgar.
Ludwig was named 2013 Coach of the Year at the World MMA Awards because of his great work with the fighters at Team Alpha Male. Fighters such as TJ Dillashaw, Urijah Faber, Joseph Benavidez, Chad Mendes, Danny Castillo and TUF 18 winner, Chris Holdsworth have all sung Ludwig’s praises and credited him for helping them achieve great things since he took over the team. Ludwig helped lead both Faber and Benavidez to title fights, but both were unsuccessful in their attempts. He recently announced he’d be stepping down as their head coach so he could move his family back to Colorado where he would start his own gym.

Seven Sayings on the Cross:
1. My God, My God, why hast thou forsaken Me? (Matthew 27:46; Mark 15:34; Psalm 22:1)
2. Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do (Luke 23:34).
3. Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with Me in paradise (Luke 23:43).
4. Father, into Thy hands I commend My spirit (Luke 23:46).
5. Woman, behold thy son! ... Behold thy mother! (John 19:26-27)
6. I thirst (John 19:28).
7. It is finished (John 19:30).
Showing normal strength to the end, proving He voluntarily laid down His life (John 10:18).
Today's show is a worship show. An opportunity to practice walking in the Spirit before it gets perilous very soon. One walks in the Spirit in three ways. First, praying constantly (1 Thessalonians 5:17); Second, reading/studying/memorizing God's Holy Word as much as possible; Third, praising God in both good and bad times. Please give your testimony and be bold with no fear with much trust and seeking Him always. He loves you very much, and so do I.

vs. 38. And after this Joseph of Arimathea, being a disciple of Jesus, but secretly for fear of the Jews, besought Pilate that he might take away the body of Jesus: and Pilate gave him leave. He came therefore, and took the body of Jesus.
vs. 39. And there came also Nicodemus, which at first came to Jesus by night, and brought a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about a hundred pound weight.
vs. 40. Then took they the body of Jesus, and wound it in linen clothes with spices, as the manner of the Jews is to bury.
vs. 41. now in the place where he was crucified there was a garden a new; and in the garden a new sepulchre, wherein was never man laid.
vs. 42. There laid they Jesus therefore because of the Jews' preparation day; for the sepulchre was nigh at hand.
JESUS RISES FROM THE DEAD. JOHN 20: 1-17. The first day of the week cometh mary magdalene early, when it was dark, unto the sepulchre, and see the stone taken away from from the sepulchre.
vs. 2. then she runneth, and cometh to simon Peter, and to the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and saith unto them. they have taken away the Lord out of the sepulchre, and we know not where they have laid him.
vs. 3. Peter therefore went forth, and that other disciple, and came to the sepulchre.
vs. 5. And he stooping down, and looking in, saw the linen clothes lying; yet went he not in. vs. 6. then cometh Simon Peter following him, and went into the sepulchre, and seeth the linen clothes lie.
JOHN 19:16-30 THE CRUCIFIXION ( Matthew 27:33; Mk. 15:22; Lk. 23:32 )

vs. 17. And he bearing his cross went forth into a place called a skull, which is called in the Hebrew Golgotha:
vs. 18. Where they crucified him, and two other with him, on either side one, and Jesusin the midst.
vs. 19. And Pilate wrote a title, and put it on the cross. And the writing was, JESUS OF NAZARETH THE KING OF THE JEWS.
vs. 20. This title then read many of the Jews: for the place where Jesus was crucified was nigh to the city: and it was written in Hebrew, and Greek, and Latin.
vs. 21. Then said the chief priests of the Jews to Pilate, Write not, The King of the Jews; but that he said, I am King of the Jews.
vs. 22. Pilate answered, What I have written I have written. vs. 23. Then the soldiers, when they had crucified Jesus, took his garments, and made four parts, to every soldier a part; and also his coat: now the coat was without seam, woven from the top throughout.
THE DEATH OF JESUS: JOHN 19:28-42
After this Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, saith, I thirst. Vs. 29. Now there were set a vessel of vinegar: and they filled a spunge with vinegar, and put it upon hyssop, and put it to his mouth. Vs. 30. When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It Is finished: and bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.
