Nigel Alston is a former executive with GMAC Insurance and Executive Director for University Engagement at Winston-Salem State University. Well known as a motivational speaker, Dale Carnegie trainer, columnist and meeting facilitator, Alston has served on numerous boards and councils in the Piedmont Triad North Carolina area.
Nigel has served on many boards, received countless distinguished community awards and honors, and continues his labor of love. Alston is married to the former Sarah Littlejohn, a retired educator. They enjoy traveling, cultural events and reading.

Tiwanda R. Alston is a mother of four, a writer, author, and coach certified through the Professional Woman's Network (PWN). Her desire to see people free from self hatred and actively living out of the love and worth instilled in us through God. Her focus is on relationship restoration coaching.
As a Relationship Restoration Coach, Ms. Alston is passionate about helping individuals reestablish a strong foundation of agape love in which they can build healthy relationships with themselves, God, and others.
"He Held Me Close" is my personal testimony of how I went from keeping a childhood secret that weighed me down with shame, and pain. I learned the power of God's love. He took me from a place of suffering, anguish, and despair and positioned me to where I was more than a conqueror and learned how to become victorious.
