Life Challengers gather around me. Class is in session. This is not a critical discussion, just a sharing of opinions. I value yours, so help me out with your comments that inspire, encourage, motivate and enlighten. I call you LIFE CHALLENGERS! Are you among the many who have accepted the challenge? Are you committed to not settling for less? Have you completed a self-assessment to determine what it is that you really want? Have you developed goals in each of your life domains (housing, job, education, mental and medical health, relationships, sexuality, spirituality, etc.) that you have a reasonable chance of achieving within a reasonable period of time? Do you have a supportive network of family and friends that encourage, inspire, motivate and enlighten you? Have you reviewed the previous Life Challenges? Testimonies are all about what you have accomplished.

Thechurch in the first century often experienced grave challenges. Such as, persecution, false teachers, and Apostasy.
Today we see similar challenges confronting the church...false teachers leading many astray. Churches apostatizing, resulting in new religious organizations.
In this series we will examine the challenges we face today. But first, it may be helpful to distinguish between the universal church and the local church as revealed in the Bible
With more tha 38,000 denominations existing, i would like for us to examine challenges we face today. Although there are many, we will not examine every challenge, but a few of the more common ones faced by many churches of Christ. It might be helpful if we first carefully distinguish between the universal and the local church as revealed in the Bible

Life Challengers, gather around me. Class is in session. Have you reviewed the previous Life Challenges? Start with the review for that is the preparation phase. Now you are ready. You have done all of the right things. Your plans are connected to goals. You have a great support network and spiritually, you prayed about it. What happens when you did all of the right things the way they were suppose to be done. What happens when you thought that everything was right, only to discover that everything went wrong. What happens when you felt violated, disrespected, manipulated, and like a failure. Unfortunately, in the best of circumstances, this happens.

Finding Meaning and Mission in Life’s Challenges: A Mother’s Journey with Her Son Born with a Physical Challenge.
The Southern Warrior Sister-Tribe turns the table on one of their very own: Maxine Holt Donaldson. Recently, she was featured in the Vogue Italia as a model; she participated in the Bella Pageant and was 1st runner up. But most importantly, she is a mother who cherishes her time with her twenty year old son, who was born with a physical challenge.
What seems like a tragedy can also be a blessing in disguise. It is all in perspective and what we make out of our lives. On this episode, Maxine Holt Donaldson unveils and tells her story of resiliency, hope, restoration, and tenacity dealing with a child with disability. Rather than give in to the circumstances, she and her family toughs it out on a daily basis, trusting God for who He is.
Our viewers will learn from someone who is daily walking the faith walk: How to find meaning and mission in life's challenges:
(1). Being the mother of a child with a disability, what advice do you have for new mom's who are facing similar circumstances?
(2). How has dealing with John's disability strengthened your family, Chris and Makyal?
(3). Was there ever a time when you blamed yourself for John's condition? If so, why did you feel you that way?
