The road to disaster is paved with good intentions. That is the key of liberalism, it is judged on it's intentions, not of it's outcomes, built on emotions, not embedded in reality and logic. In this episode we will be discussing the the shortcomings and flaws in liberal logic and policies from Affirmative Action to the Progressive Tax system.
It is time that conservatives stop beating around the bush about liberalism. The fact of the matter is that liberalism sucks. There is not one single characteristic of liberalism that is worth keeping.
In every single place, liberalism has failed. Liberalism destroys families. Liberalism promotes division and racism. In short, liberalism suck and it is well past time that we share it in no uncertain terms.
Tonight, we are going to show a roadmap on how to defeat liberalism and progressives. It is time to overcome the pitfalls or entrapment of this idealogical movement. It is past time to think rational and not react only through emotions. What may occur in the upcoming November general elections? Last week, I called out a black progressive who alleged that Conservatives, like me, who are black, do not believe in black self-determination. Pointing out the focus of conservatism is centered on self-determination, I compared and contrasted the two ideologies to point to why liberalism/progressivism is the real culprit of lacking black self determination.
The black progressive who made such a statement has agreed to come on MHBT to state why he feels conservatism lacks the belief in black self-determination that progressives have shown over the course of the last seven decades of American history.
You definitely want to miss this one......should be interesting, and I will hold no punches with this one
"The Struggle of the Left to Rationalize its Positions is an Intolerable Sisyphean Burden"--David Mamet Having covered the origins of leftism in the initial article in this two-part series, let’s recap. Liberalism was originally based upon liberty, & now known as Classical Liberalism. The roots of this worldview stretch back to classical paganism. In An Intellectual History of Liberalism, Pierre Manent generally describes Liberalism as “the basso continuo of modern politics, of the politics of Europe and the West for about the past three centuries.” In other words, it is our foundational societal theory. Yet, now the term liberalism has been co-opted by socialism.
Ralph Raico describes the original idea:
“Classical liberalism” is designated the ideology advocating private property, an unhampered market economy, the rule of law, constitutional guarantees of freedom of religion and of the press, and international peace based on free trade…including freedom of contract and exchange and the free disposition of one’s own labor, is given a high priority. Historically, liberalism has manifested a hostility to state action, which, it insists, should be reduced to a minimum.
Let’s examine development of modern liberalism, or socialism. How did the philosophy of liberty devolve into doctrinaire, pedestrian socialism—with its inane fixation on controlling the habits of men and extinguishing their freedoms? Because Socialists needed to update their branding, as Americans considered Marxist ideas unacceptable.
