    Carson's Corner Election Boycott Advocates.

    in Politics Progressive

On this edition of Carson's Corner, the Election Boycott Advocates welcome Harry Cason of the Zeitgeist Movement to the program to discuss how to create a new sustainable world. The working class undoubtedly faces many challenges- change is easier said than done. However, there are steps that we can take to overcome the ruling class. Harry Cason believes that we have to sell everyone a program that contains enormous benefits to everyone. Bob Carson believes we have to reevaluate the way we look at the market system and move beyond capitalism. Capitalism in its current ( and arguably any form) is not designed to address human needs, and therefore continuing capitalism will only further increase the pain of the working class. This consciousness spurred on by the miserable conditions of the working class will lead to a revolution. Christopher Driscoll believes that we need to pull out the rug from the ruling class- the rug of legitimacy- and establish worker owned factories and workplaces. Thomas Baldwin believes a new set of principles will emerge from a value system. All believe that the ballot box is no ride to power for the working class, so what do we do? What course of action should we take? Tune into Carson's Corner to hear this very unique discussion that you will hear few places elsewhere.

In an article in today's American Thinker headlined "Panetta Book Bombshell:  Challenges to Obama's Legitimacy Affected His Presidency", investigative reporter Jack Cashill writes:

"Largely lost in the hubbub over former Defense Secretary Leon Panetta’s new book Worthy Fights is one intriguing revelation. As reported in the New York Times, the accusations that Barack Obama was not what he appeared to be, perhaps not even a natural-born citizen, caused him to become tentative on the national stage."

?Jack's newest book "YOU LIE! - The Evasions, Omissions, Fabrications, Frauds, and Outright Falsehoods of Barack Obama" is making quite a splash.

Tonight Jack joins me on my radio program to expand on a devastating compendium of the president's false and misleading statements on matters great and small, beginning with the deliberate distortions in his celebrated memoir "Dreams from My Father", and continuing through his political career and his years in the White House.

Talking in Circles: Phoenix Review; Gordon & Keselowski Miss Championship Round

    in Sports

On tonight's episode we reivew the Quicken Loans Race for Heroes 500 @ Phoenix International Raceway.

Kevin Harvick wins the race, and moves on to the Championship Round at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Joey Logano finished 6th and Denny Hamlin finished 5th, and both drivers were able to also advance to the next round. Ryan Newman had to piledrive his way around Kyle Larson and was able to finish 11th, which was one point good enough to get him in over Jeff Gordon.

Getting eliminated after this round were Jeff Gordon, Matt Kenseth, Carl Edwards and Brad Keselowski. Keselowski and Gordon were solid favorites to move on, but each had their own reasons of why they didn't move on. Clayton Caldwell also has his own reason on why Jeff Gordon wasn't able to advance into the chase.

DEBRIS CAUTIONS!!!! NASCAR today hurt the legitimacy of their champion today by throwing a significant amount of bogus debris cautions to spice up competition. Brandon gets a little heated in talking about that.

Also Ryan Newman muscled his way around Kyle Larson, and some ppl took issue. Dirty driving, or aggressive driving, and what may have happened in that incident that no one has talked about yet.

And Chase Elliott clinches the 2014 and final NASCAR Nationwide Series Championship. The youngest person ever to hold that title at the age of 18. We'll discuss what's next for the young Elliott.

October 16: This Show Is Royal!

    in Sports

After a brief vacation, Mike "the Buzz-saw" Asti and George "the Howitzer" Gerbo are back and better than ever (of course they'd say that). During their break, asininity in the sports world was at a premium, as usual.

In a shocking turn of events, the Kansas City Royals rolled through the American League to reach the franchises first World Series since 1985. Has this run by the Royals been more a lucky ridiculous hot streak or something to be admired? Mike vs George goes 12 rounds on this topic. You want someone who is not surprised and feels asking the legitimacy of a team going undefeated in a postseason is asinine, we give you the Buzz-saw. You want someone who has never bought into the Royals and characterizes their dominance as an "aberration" pennant, we give you the Howitzer. Has baseball actually witnessed a generational trend of these "aberration" pennants or championships, by teams breaking long droughts and seemingly coming out of nowhere?

Kansas City is in the Fall Classic for the first time in 29 years. San Francisco, on the other hand, has reached their third World Series in five seasons. Will a third championship (2010, 2012, 2014?) make the Giants a dynasty? What is it about this team that becomes a winning cockroach in the postseason? With some moving parts, who are the "faces" of this potential Giants dynasty?

The NHL is underway. Which teams have significantly improved? Are there some perennial contenders that will disappoint (cough, Detroit Red Wings)?

Ole Miss and Mississippi State are both at top of the college football rankings. Yes, you read that right. Did Notre Dame fall into the driver seat for a playoff spot?

HBS radio gold has returned, as the Howitzer and Buzz-saw conquer sports radio, one day, at a time....

    HOST: Serge Ndayizeye

    GUEST: Callixte Sankara

A coalition of academics, scientists and journalists has written to the director general of the BBC to accuse the broadcaster of being “recklessly irresponsible” in promoting “genocide denial” in a BBC2 documentary on the Rwanda massacres of 1994.

The letter by 38 experts on Rwanda expresses “grave concern” over the impression left by the film Rwanda’s Untold Story, broadcast earlier this month. The authors demand a BBC inquiry into how the documentary was made and call for the broadcaster to apologise to victims and survivors of the genocide.

“In broadcasting this documentary the BBC has been recklessly irresponsible,” the letter said. “The programme has fuelled genocide denial. It has further emboldened the génocidaires, all their supporters and those who collaborate with them. It has provided them the legitimacy of the BBC.”

The complaint follows earlier protests by Rwandan genocide survivor groups who complained the BBC had followed a political agenda and made no attempt to contact them over what happened in 1994.

Religious Freedom in the United States: The Case of David Koresh and Others

    in Paranormal

This segment of "Philosopher Vortex" will discuss the issue of the free exercise of religous belief under American organic law, and the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.   New theologies and reglions have always faced prosecution, as have new scientific, and philosophic beliefs to one extent or another.  We will discuss the line between belief and action.  Also important, will be the relationship between spiritual, natural, and positive law.

The spiritual legitimacy of secular powers as against the Higher Spiritual Power of Life is a crucial element in all of this.  The expansion of spiritual consciousness, and the restrictive power of positive law in the hands of ruling classes to protect their power, is at the core of many of these problems.

These problems involve the philosophy of law at its deepest dimension.

Politics Done Right - War and the Obama derangement syndrome

    in Politics Progressive

    This week’??s show
War and the Obama derangement syndrome
    September 27th, 2014

To be clear, I completely disagree with President Obama going to war with ISIS / ISIL. In fact I believe we have been conned into war and I have written several blog posts about that (here, here, here, here).

Everyone who disagrees with President Obama’s action should speak out against it and try to force our politicians to do what is right. Just like many of us spoke out against President Bush’s illegal war in Iraq, we must speak out against this unnecessary war.

That said, America is one nation. Most on the Right, Left, and Middle gave President Bush the legitimacy the world needed to see even in disagreement. Unfortunately, President Obama is unable to get this legitimacy from the other side.
