Latice Crawford Debuts new Hit single " “Look At Yourself Again”, the first release from her forthcoming 2015 EP. Latice released a self-titled debut album in which she wrote seven of the ten songs and collaborated with producers Bruce Robinson (Britney Spears, Ron Isley, Justin Bieber) and Denarius “Motesart” Motes (Celine Dion, Nelly Furtado). The album peaked at #12 on the Billboard Gospel Albums Chart and #21 on the Billboard Heatseekers Albums Chart. In addition, her “There” single, from the debut album, reached #17 on the Billboard Gospel Airplay Chart and #18 on the Billboard Hot Gospel Songs Chart.
Singer/Songwriter, Educator, & Philanthropist - Conya Doss Debuts her new album " SEVEN " The follow up from her hit album A Pocketful Of Purpose . For 15 years, as a top female vocalist, garnering accolades from USA Today, VIBE, Billboard, Complex Magazine, BET, Soul Train, Ledisi, Michael Baisden, DJ Jazzy Jeff, SoulTracks, and Anthony Hamilton while gracing many magazine covers.
Released by 19 Recordings/Interscope Records, Music Speaks serves up a sophisticated yet supremely soulful blend of love songs and self-empowerment anthems. In creating the album, Candice Glover partnered with an A-list lineup of producers that includes The Underdogs (Beyoncé, Jennifer Hudson, Justin Timberlake), Mike WiLL Made-It (Rihanna, Miley Cyrus), The Jackie Boyz (Madonna, Sean Kingston), Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins (The Black Eyed Peas, Lady Gaga), and Paul “Hotsauce” Dawson (Robin Thicke, Usher). Endlessly moving and deeply intimate, Music Speaks finds Glover channeling the emotional dynamism of legendary vocalists who’ve long inspired her. “My biggest influences have always been singers like Aretha Franklin, Patti LaBelle, Marvin Gaye, and Whitney Houston—the kind of people who are so heartfelt in their performance, you can just immediately feel what they’re singing,” notes Glover.
You can tell when a woman has finally come into her own. It's in the swivel of her hips, the growl in her voice and the joy that brightens her face when she smiles. A woman filled with confidence is a force to be reckoned with. For singer songwriter Ledisi, that exuberance rings through on every track of her new album The Truth. And that's saying a lot. Over the past 13 years, New Orleans native Ledisi Anibade Young has recorded six albums, gained eight Grammy nominations including a nod for "Best New Artist" in 2008, performed six times at the White House for President and Mrs. Obama, and earned a place in the pantheon of the best soul singers of her generation. With The Truth, Ledisi, known for her rich and evocative ballads says it's time for something new.

When the chips are down and it's crunch time... who can you trust? A lot of us have people that are our go-to's whenever there is a situation, but can we really rely on them? I've learned since the launch of my show who my true friends were. People that I thought would support what I was doing have all but ignored my efforts. That will happen. Most people will only have a handful of people they can rely on anyway. But, how can you recognize them?
That's what I'll discuss with my Show Legends tonight. Who can you trust?
Also on the show we'll discuss the Grammys and Beyonce. Did Beyonce stiff-arm Ledisi out of a song that Ledisi recently brought back to life in a movie soundtrack? How did Bey wind up singing a song that was recently performed by someone else in the movie "Selma"?
That and more on the Talk 2 Q Radio Show! "No experts. Just opinions."
Show No. 444
Scheduled for 90 mins.
