At the top of the show, Anne Preciado-Rich, author of My 333rd Life on Planet Earth - Secrets from the 9th Dimension discusses how envy and awe have shackled the Sacred Feminine and women's sexuality. In our discussion we'll delve into the little known origins of today's attitude toward women and sex and what caused men, who once revered women, to change their attitude toward women and sexuality. We'll discuss the negative effects of the repression of women and sexuality, how the ancient viewed birth control and Eve's apple - once viewed as a symbol of immortality. And what does all that have to do with a book by this title!
In the second half of the show, Foremother and Elder, Z. Budapest discusses leadership.
Have you ever co-led a program or project with another leader, and walked away thinking, never again? Do you dread having to collaborate, with the sub-text, I just wish I could have done this on my own?
The Parachute Project, designed by Joss Rowlands and John Breeze, was born from a co-leading experience during the prestigious Coaches Training Institute’s Leadership program.
In keeping with their own greater purpose of bringing co-leadership into the world, Joss and John work with leadership partners to help them embrace the experience of creating meaningful relationship, collaboration and intimacy. This opens them up to the joy of co-leadership, which expands their own influence as leaders in their own worlds.
John Breeze is a recovering engineer who’s now in his fourth (or so) career and believes he may have finally got it right! John trained with the Coaches Training Institute’s coaching program, then embraced the Leadership program. He’s been involved in various ways with the coaching and leadership community in the last five years and was recently recruited into the Co-Active Leadership Co-Ambassador team. John works with business owners and creative self-directed professionals, helping them harness their unique strengths and talents to build a thriving business and take responsibility for their lives.
Joss Rowlands is a CTI coaching grad, CPCC, and Co-Active Leadership grad. Her focus is self-mastery in the areas of intensity, complexity and drive. She brings the results (and mis-steps) of this to mentoring coaches and leaders in transition. Joss embraces the concept of Leaders holding responsibility for their worlds, while noting that these self-same words promote diversity and individuality and a greater need for the inter-dependence of spirit.

The leadership model we have been taught and that continues to be taught no longer works in our current world. It worked well in the industrial economy because people were not well educated, tasks were often simple and routine, and some workers didn't even speak English. But in this day and age of online businesses, virtual worlds and virtual teams, the leadership model needs to change.
Today tasks are complex projects which are often customized frequently. This requires nimble decision making and action to adapt to frequent change in economic and technological conditions. This requires a different leadership model.
Poor performers are costly for business and deadly for small businesses. Wally Hauck has the cure for leadership malpractice. Learn how to motivate and inspire your team members and watch your productivity soar.

The TalentCulture #TChat Show is back live on Wednesday, July 16, 2014, from 7-8 pm ET (4-5 pm PT). The #TChat radio portion runs the first 30 minutes from 7-7:30 pm ET, followed by the #TChat Twitter chat from 7:30-8 pm ET.
Last week we talked about amplifying the talent engagement experience, and this week we’re going to discuss values based leadership.
Leadership development isn’t anything new, but it’s is clear that people today care about different things and their expectations from business in their roles as associates, customers, investors, and community members are rapidly changing.
For organizations to keep up, leaders have to go first; the culture of any organization is an extended shadow of leadership. For business leaders to successfully transform themselves and bring others along with them, they must come from a place of passion, purpose, competency and authenticity.
There are those words again, but unfortunately businesses are not keeping up and still use old school leadership mind-sets and skill-sets of the past. The squandering of the extraordinary potential that lies largely untapped in our employees and organizations is painful to witness, but there is hope.
This week’s guest calls it Values Based Leadership, similar styles include Authentic, Servant and Truly Human Leadership.
Join #TChat co-creators and hosts Meghan M. Biro and Kevin W. Grossman as we learn more about values based leadership with this week’s guest: Mark Fernandes, Chief Leadership Officer of Luck Companies, a global Values Based Leadership (VBL) organization.
Thank you to our sponsors and partners: RIVS, GreatRated of Great Place to Work, TalentWise, GloboForce, SAP/SuccessFactors, PeopleFluent, Red Branch Media and HRmarketer Insight.
These shows will be Universal Leadership Skills training sessions designed to equip the listener with all the skills sets related to successful contemporary leadership in any configuration of human organization. From the Community of Self to the Largest Community Organization
