Be Honest About Who You Are: Change Your Life and Your Business!

    in Business

Join us today for Women Lead Radio, as Shawn Marie Turi, your host of Business is Personal, interviews Lindsey Witmer Collins, Founder and Software Architect at Lindsey Witmer Collins.

Being honest about whom you really are changes your life and your business! (from a girl who knows and created something from nothing!) With a focus on high-end, high-impact projects, she and her team have designed and developed cross-platform mobile applications and have earned as many as 15,000 daily downloads and have accelerated the growth of marketing lists by as much as 400% for dozens of their clients. She's also earned the trust of some very high profile and well known mobile app brands. Her mission? To give everything she knows about software and to become a perfectionist about yours.

Before building apps for non-tech entrepreneurs, she spent two and a half years and nearly $100K creating and iterating her own wellness application, while studying with an MIT aesthetic engineer at the same time. This experience, and especially the expensive (and entirely avoidable) mistakes she made along the way, taught her how to create an effective efficient business... and succeed, with simple software that works... not just on the code level, but on a human one.

Shawn Marie Turi is your host of Business IS Personal: (What you do and WHY you do it… MATTERS!), a show focused on interviewing remarkable professional women and entrepreneurs who are doing what they love, kicking ass and believe that ‘Business IS (in fact) Personal’…and what we do, how we do it, and most importantly, why we do it really does matter!

"Don't Lead By Title, Lead By Example"

    in Self Help

"As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others." An excerpt from LeMarr Taylor's favorite quote suggests that leaders lead, more so by example and not simply by doling out directions.  This is a mantra he has incorporated into his life by following the examples of those who have influenced him through their acts of servanthood, which he continuously strives to emulate.  Join us as we speak with this charismatic Toastmaster, who moonlights as a poet, to see what motivates him to continuously take on new challenges in the arena of public speaking and how doing so has changed his life.

How do you teach basic personal development for adults and kids? The answer is to take the same guiding principles and teach it in simple ways. A childlike way is a great way for all. This episode goes into depth with the idea of leading one's self first, paradigm shifts and embracing the idea of teaching principles within the education field. With real life examples from Kanani, learn about The Leader in Me program and other leadership principles in today's world that we need to be leaders of ourselves first. Lead interferes with a variety of body processes and is toxic to many organs and tissues including the heart, bones, intestines, kidneys, and reproductive and nervous systems. It interferes with the development of the nervous system and is therefore particularly toxic to children, causing potentially permanent learning and behavior disorders. Symptoms include abdominal pain, confusion, headache, anemia, irritability, and in severe cases seizures, coma, and death.   MORE  - Click: https://onecellonelightradio.wordpress.com/2016/01/20/dr-hildy-dr-ernest-p-chiodo-lead-in-our-waters/
