May we begin by sharing that we at Forming Faithful Families are SINNNERS.
As SINNERS, we often fail, and turn with confidence to our always Merciful Lord, Jesus. Jesus came not to call and save the righteous, but sinners.
“And indeed I did not come to call the virtuous, but sinners.” (Matthew 9:13)
We have noticed that there has been ever increasing and widespread confusion and controversy in society over the matter of homosexuality popularly referred to as LBGT, meaning lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender. What we intend to do in this program is to share the teachings of the Holy Catholic Church on this subject by simply reading verbatim the text from the Catechism of the Catholic Church regarding Chastity and homosexuality, while avoiding any commentary since the teaching in the text itself is lucid, succinct, and thorough.
We would like to say to you our listener, no matter who you are or what you believe, I love you, the Church loves you, and our Heavenly Father in heaven especially loves you. As a matter of fact He loves you infinitely as if you were the only person He ever created. He sent His son, Jesus to die for you on the Cross for your salvation.?
In conclusion may we say that all of the Catholic Church’s teachings are really a love letter from God, a loving ideal and guide to live by so we can be happy both here on earth and in eternity with the One Who is Love, Jesus, our Lord. The Catholic Church’s teachings are not an imposition, but a profound gift from God offered out of His astounding love for you.
Does the LGBT community have the same struggle as African Americans in the past?
I disagree! I'm not homophobic but I say you can't compare the to. Blacks didn't 'hide" behind their race and we would all agree without total coverage and silence it would be very difficult to hide a person's race.On the other hand, no one knows what your sexuality is [many can make assumptions] not unless a person announce publicly what their preference is. What I don't like about the comparison is this. Why is it that on social and civil issues gays and lesbians come to foreground when it's only about gay issues or gay rights as they call them? You ever see these minority group come together and speak out against racism or is it left to thus into interracial sex. Do they speak out for or against war or only about Dont ask, Dont tell? If you don't agree with all there grievances or claims are you homophobic because of this and they are not straight phobes because they believe they Belong to a gay community that only exist in areas where gay bars usually are. Blacks had and still have pride, they didn't parade showing themselves in obvious stereotypes.to be heard and listen to.
Today on Rockafellaz Radio we continue the focus on the LBGT community and try and help those that do not, understand the lifestyles that some of us live and walk day in and day out. It is important to be happy with yourself and love yourself just as much as you may love another.
Long time friend, Asenshion Amun will join us on todays show as a special guest. So many accomplishments Asenshion has achieved and I am very happy for her because of all that she has endured throughout her life. She will help us answered the unexplained and help cure the curious. Questions that we all may have wanted to ask, but never wanted to ask. Now is the time for that to finally come to a stop.
Confused or Misunderstood. I never knew or understood why it is that a man would change or alter his image to because the opposite sex. Is there anything wrong with being someone that you want to be? Why should transgender be treated any different than someone that is a lesbian or a gay man, perhaps a man that is very feminine or a woman that is very masculine or butch?
All this and more today on Rockafellaz Radio.....Talk that Keeps it 100!

Welcome to Independent Underground Radio LIVE - MICHIGAN'S TOP POLITICO PODCAST - Aired each Tuesday & Thursday @ 11am ET.
On the Program: -Guest Rev. Roland Caldwell will visit the show to discuss why he believes Federal Courts should not overturn Michigan's Marriage Amendment banning LBGT marriages. Passed in 2004, Michigan Proposal 04-2 of 2004, was a referendum approved by 59% by state voters to MI Constitution that makes it unconstitutional for the state to recognize or perform same-sex marriages or civil unions. Should the voters will 10 years ago be first and foremost in the Courts mind or should LGBT couples be allowed rights to marry, all other Michigan citizens have? Will discuss. -U.S. Army SSg. Bowe Bergdahl was released as a Prisoner of War in Afghanistan after five years of capitivity, being held by the Taliban. Normally, this would be a happy occassion for all, however right-wing media ceasing to politicize a Soldiers' release have blamed Bergdahl for "deserting" his unit to join the Taliban, harrassed Bergdahl parents and have managed to lobby fellow former Military Servicemen in the former POW unit to join the media circus chorus. Is this how we should treat fmr. POW's? Will discuss.

The path to conception is not a direct one for many of us. Many women have to overcome obstacles in their journey to conception. That journey can be very emotional, enlightenting, heartbreaking and transformational. Emily Unter-King is one such warrior who turned her challenges into gifts and ultimately into a healthy pregnancy. Emily has been an amazing resource for me in my conception journey; I was very excited she accepted my request to share her story to educate and inspire others. Tune in to share in Emily's journey to becoming a lesbian mom.

It just sounds weird to hear someone who is gay tell another person that they hate other gays. Yes I know that is a very strong word to say, I honeslty have shunned away from using it myself. But why is it that way? What makes a gay hate another? Is there a reason for this negative thought or statement. Tonight we talk to someone who feels just that way.
Domestic violence is never the solution to solve any problem in a relationship or friendship. What situation arises that is so bad that would cause someone to become so physical toward another person? When the damage and physical abuse is done, what part of the problem is solved? Is that a question that you ask yourself if you are the one doing the act of Domestic Violence?
The blame has to go somewhere, but who determines that? Is it because of what you heard or do you have your facts in order. What makes the industry a target when it comes to sexually transmitted diseases. We are doing what we have to do, but are the models doing what they have to do? So much friction between it all. The only reason the industry is blamed is because its the biggest target.
Lets talk about all this and more on todays show. Please participate and give us your feed back.
