Dr. Minich not only leads detox events multiple times per year, but lectures to audiences worldwide on the topic.
Sometimes in life you have to detox from some people! If you have ever watched the TV show intervention sometimes the addict has to go throught detox to rid themselves of the toxins which are the drugs. Well in life we deal with toxic people meaning negative, self-serving people who are only about self or it could be situations that are toxic and mean us no good. When we find ourselves in this state of mind then it's time to detox and remove the toxins. Toxic people do nothing but contaminate with their mouths and attitudes. Any self help person will tell you to avoid these types at all cost. A woman went on a 30 day man fast but I am thinking what would happen if you removed toxic peope for 30 days! I bet you have a peace like no other. You will come back stronger and be able to cope better or get rid of the toxins all togother. Like an addict your body may be rid of the drug but then the withdrawls kick in. So many of us are addicted to drama and chaos. We would probably be on the road to recovery but relaspe by going back to that toxic situation. If you ready to detox join me on this broadcast!
This evening's broadcast is a special replay of the Sweep Your Brain Mind & Body Detox Learning Series class. An upgrade in your mind comes with maturity. Maturity comes with deliberate steps to better thinking and choices. The class focuses on detoxing our mentalities for better relationships, results and living.

TITLE: What You Know And What You Do
The Law and Sin
What shall we say, then? Is the law sinful? Certainly not! Nevertheless, I would not have known what sin was had it not been for the law. For I would not have known what coveting really was if the law had not said, “You shall not covet. But sin, seizing the opportunity afforded by the commandment, produced in me every kind of coveting. For apart from the law, sin was dead. Once I was alive apart from the law; but when the commandment came, sin sprang to life and I died. I found that the very commandment that was intended to bring life actually brought death. For sin, seizing the opportunity afforded by the commandment, deceived me, and through the commandment put me to death. So then, the law is holy, and the commandment is holy, righteous and good.
Did that which is good, then, become death to me? By no means! Nevertheless, in order that sin might be recognized as sin, it used what is good to bring about my death, so that through the commandment sin might become utterly sinful.
We know that the law is spiritual; but I am unspiritual, sold as a slave to sin. I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do. And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good. As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me. For I know that good itself does not dwell in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. For I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do—this I keep on doing. Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it.

It's one thing to know a lot of stats, data and information about a topic - yet another to know first-hand what you're talking about because you've been there and done that before. Amie Valpone has really BEEN THERE and DONE THAT when it comes to detox - because at times her life has literally depended upon it.
On this simple how-to of the good, the bad and the ugly of Detox Amie teaches us:
- What a detox program (that's going to work) looks like - and warning signs for the ones that won't
- How the process of detoxification actually works and why it's a lifestyle instead of a short change
- Tested and proven strategies to leave you feeling and looking great with simple detoxification

Interview with Gregory Cioffi about his upcoming film called The Museum of Lost Things. The film is about a man who randomly walks into a museum that has objects that represent something that he has lost in his life. The movie then goes onto to consider more abstract things, like lost illusions. It is a layered story told from different perspectives weaving together objects, experiences and some big ideas. The film is based on a short story by Dennis Pahl and parts of it were shot at Long Island University.
To get the right tone for the film Gregory studied some of Woody Allen and Wes Anderson films, including Midnight in Paris and The Grand Budapest Hotel. However, The Museum of Lost Things is it's own unique story, inspired by Dennis's experience of losing/misplacing things.
If you 'd like to help bring this magical tapesty to life, please check out the film's Kickstarter project.
