LatinoTalk Texas 2014, 0041 Guest Charlie Garza & Judeo-Christian Principles

    in Politics

LatinoTalk Texas is news, issues and interviews important to American Latinos.  This is America's only daily indepedent political analysis from the Latino perspective.  Today, Charlie Garza, was my guest. Charlie was a member of the State Board of Education in Texas and at the time of his election a few years ago he was the only Latino Republican elected to statewide office in Texas. I actually helped with his campaign those few years ago and I'm proud of my involvement with his campaign. Charlie called to mention how the left is working hard at every turn and especially concerning the selection of textbooks in Texas to eliminate any reference to our common judeo-christian principles in the founding of our nation and the basis of our common laws in America. I explained why the culture of death, represented by the Democrats in America seek to use euphemisms to cover the truth about their actions. I went on to give the example and read a news article about Planned Parenthood's claiming they offer pre-cancer screenings when the evidence is clear that PP does NOT offer any such screenings. The news indicates the Pro-Life effort to remove all public funds in Texas from Planned Parenthood. I agree that is the best policy and those funds should go to agencies that actually do provide women's healthcare. Then Charlie and I discuss the anti-immigration effort and I inform him of the true importance of immigration reform, that America needs MORE immigration and not less but that the very same forces of the culture of death are also the same types of people who bring the anti-immigration efforts and that they are motivated by an anti-Latino fervor. Finally I read two news articles about a federal lawsuit brought by Texas AG Greg Abbott over Obama's executive action on Immigration reform and mention that Arturo Carmona, a guest on this show, was quoted in the article.

LatinoTalk Texas 2014, 0037 Daniel Garza & Pending Immigration Action

    in Politics

HUGE SHOW, TODAY!!  Daniel Garza with The LIBRE Initiative called the show along with David R Gonzalez and Elias Bemudez who are Immigration Reform Activists from Arizona.  They, along with myself, are all Independent Latino Political Activists who seek better representation for Latinos in America..  We discussed the terrible situation for DREAMERS and those in their families who live in fear of arrest and deportation unnecessarily due to Obama's harsh policies and they demand relief.  However, if Obama gives such relief it would eliminate any possibility that the Congress will act on CIR in any meaningful fashion.  Daniel Garza seeks to address this and obtain real legal relief and address the great need for MORE immigration to America and not less.  At the same time the DREAMERS are drowning and must have relief.   But I warn and my callers agree that Obama is blame and will only act if he can do so for his own political benefit.  Callers agree that the Democrats take the Latino vote for granted and the Republicans are bullies and that Latinos must have their own leaders.  We lament that Jose' Jose Peñalosa for Arizona , another Independent Latino, was not elected in Arizona.  My callers were; however, surprised, although Daniel Garza was fully aware, that the main source of the anti-immigration effort in America derives from the John Tanton Network of radical environmentalists from Planned Parenthood.  They have major leaders and activists at the leadership of both major parties and thus, Latinos have not political party on their side.  Great show today!! Tell your friends that LatinoTalk Latino Talk Texas is America's only daily political analysis from the independent Latino perspective.

LatinoTalk Texas 2014, 0036 Climate Hoax, Latino Voting & European Recession

    in Politics

LatinoTalk Texas is about news, issues and interviews of importance to American Latinos.  On today's show, I share my perspective on the fear mongering climate alarmists by reading the details of political satirists cartoon on the subject which points out the in 1970 the climate alarmists warned of a coming Ice age.  Finally, they cried about global warming and now they cry about "climate change" while the real agenda is global communism.  Industrialized nations, in the plan, contribute large sums of money to 3rd world nations so they won't have to develop industrialization and that's the story but the real story is communism.  Later, I read three blog pieces: one by Ruben Navarette decrying the  biter debate between the anti-immigration folks who say Obama, The Deporter in Chief, is not doing his job at all!  I agree with Navarette that Obama has been very harsh with his deportation policies and we must have relief but from whom?  I suspect neither.  Later, I read two pieces that without all the facts claim the Republicans are winning over the Latino vote.  This is simply not correct because although in the last election there may have been 30-40% Latino voters who voted that way the complete truth is that only about 30% of the total Latino electorate actually voted.  Thus, the GOP only got a third of the total which was, itself, only a third of the total.  If you do the math, they got 10% of the Latino vote.  In reality, Latino voters, disgusted with Obama and unwilling to vote Republican because of the harsh rhetoric simply stayed home.  Finally, I read big news from Catholic Pulse that reports that Pope Francis will visit the USA next September and attend the "World Meeting of Families" in Philadelphia.

LatinoTalk Texas 2014, 0030 Latino influence in this and upcoming elections

    in Politics

LatinoTalk Texas is America's ONLY daily independent political analysis for the Latino Perspective! On today's show, I read some articles concerning the potential for Jeb Bush, a favorite among many Latinos, to run for the Republican Presidential nomination.  However, I continue to remind how the very qualities that make me and other Latinos like Jeb Bush are also the same things that make Tea party types hate him.  I discuss the dynamics of the Tea party grip on the Republican Party's metaphorical throat and how that will control the next set of presidential elections.  Following on that I discuss the New Mexico Governor race involving Susana Martinez who is the nation's first elected Latina Governor.  A loft accomplishment, no doubt but she has done some anti-Latino things in her state to satisfy the Tea party's anti-Latino agenda.  She could be nominated for Vice President if either Jeb Bush or even a Tea Party type like Rand Paul wins the nomination for President.  I'm not sure if the latter would actually be good for Latinos.  Later, I discuss some case studies of the actual sorrow and suffering imposed by Obama's harsh deportation policies which he could have changed years ago but he lied, lied and lied about it all much to the detriment of Latinos in America.  Finally, I discuss a commentary by Pope Francis about the attack on the sacrament and institution of marriage.  I couch that discussion in the larger context of the battle between the Culture of Life and the Culture of Death which benefits from destruction of marriage, the very foundation of the Culture of Life.

LatinoTalk Texas 2014, 0035 Latino issues, Politics and Science news

    in Politics

LatinoTalk Texas is news, interviews and issues in America from the Latino perspective.  On today's show, I read two news articles from Fox News Latino concerning Latino issues.  One, a San Jose University leader is reported to have uttered disparaging remarks about Latinas.  In another article details about Obama's potential plan for easing his harsh deportation polices.  Later I read an important piece by David Smith about the means by which the Libertarians re-invented themselves and have taken over the Republican Party.  I lament this also and pointed it out a few years ago and also lament how these crypto-libertarians as I call them brought with them the anti-immigration movement which is also an anti-Latino movement and part of a larger population control effort.  I also read some of your comments on my facebook page.  Finally, I read two science pieces.  The ESA has successfully landed a small probe on the surface of a comet which is unprecedented and very exciting.  Lastly I explain the nature of a new commercial appliance you may be seeing in your home in the next few years.  It's called Jibo and its a robot or more like a robotic mobile smart phone.  It talks and listens and follows your movements so it can help you by reading your communications to you and take photos and videos for you and perhaps much more.  Yes, it is really the 21st century!

LatinoTalk Texas 2014, 0044 Texas: Epicenter of the coming Immigration Debate

    in Politics

LatinoTalk Texas is America's only daily independent political analysis from the Latino perspective.  On today's show, I discuss political analysis on the actions of the nation's leading VENDIDO, Rafael "Ted" Cruz, and how his bullying tactics and most ardent anti-immigration efforts are the polar opposite of Jeb Bush who both favors immigration reform and public school reform. I read articles about both and add my analysis about them and note that Cruz, along with Mike Lee of Utah and Rand Paul of Kentucky, were all elected with a harsh enforcement only anti-immigration perspective and I submit that agenda is actually anti-Latino in its motivation is also very divisive and polarizing. On the other hand, Jeb Bush, former Florida Governor and originally from Texas is the polar opposite but also Republican. He is for immigration reform and public school reform, both topics important and favored by Latinos. Bush has won larger percentages of Latino voters in the past buth can he, as a Republican, win back all those Latinos and more driven away from the party by bullies like Rafael Ted Cruz, the Vendido? I also notice that the Democrats who also do not favor immigration reform but rather remain quiet on the topic and allow the the deeply divided GOP to self destruct. Their strategy will be to wait and see and rely upon the fact that they have had the Latino vote for decades and assume the GOP will mess up like Romney in the past and drive away more and more Latino voters in the next major election. I propose that while Arizona was ground zero for the immigration debate in the years past that Texas and what it does under Abbott and Patrick will become the new epicenter of the immigration debate in America especially since Cruz and Bush and Paul are all from Texas. Except that Cruz, the Vendido, is actually from Canada!

LatinoTalk Texas 2014, 0043 Catholic traditions & 287g Immigration Enforcement

    in Politics

LatinoTalk Texas is news, issues and interviews important to Latinos in America.  On today's show, December 12th, I discuss the Feast Day of Our Lady of Guadalupe which is very important to Latinos in America, especially Mexicanos and ethnic Mexicans like myself. I read an article about riders in Illinois who rode to the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Des Plaines and delivered a rose while passing on horseback. I went on to read more news from the Catholic News Service concerning the Synod of the Family and Conscious Rights of Catholics under assault in liberal America both by the Obama administration and the liberal City of Washington DC which enacted similar ordinances as Plano, and Houston, Texas which challenge religious freedom and expression. Later in the show, a caller, Juan Martinez, a former police officer in the Dallas Ft. Worth area called to ask about 287g, a federal program that enables local law enforcement to question person incarcerated to determine if they should be evaluated by immigration enforcement. Martinez wanted to know if that program is still in effect. I reported that as I know it is but in reference to SB 1070 which was largely found to be unconstitutional but also still authorized in vague terms state and local law enforcement to be "assist" immigration and customs authorities. Previously, this was not true as the Supremacy Clause prevented state and local LEO from investigating such matters without 287g authorization. However, since the SB1070 case, states have new authorization and in places like Arizona, they uses it indiscriminately and over zealously. I am very worried about the laws Dan Patrick will pass here in Texas and use it to violate the rights of Latinos here in Texas simply because we may look "foreign." Clearly a violation of the 4th Amendment.

LatinoTalk Texas 2014, 0009 The Anti-Latino Agenda enabled by Latino Inaction

    in Politics

Today's show concerns the lack of voter participation by Latinos and how that fact has enabled the anti-Latino forces from the Tanton Network to act politically against us by convincing Republicans that it's okay to act the way they do against Latinos.  They have an active agenda to hide the true roots of the anti-immigration reform agenda but understand that it is truly is anti-Latino in origin.  Furthermore, I remind you that the Tanton Network is hard at work in the Democrat party and Obama, the "Deporter in Chief", is also NOT your friend. Confused yet?  Wondering what to do?  Not Voting is NOT the answer!  You must VOTE!  Latinos not voting is why Democrats don't care and why Republicans can be openly hostile toward you.  Vote independently.  Vote and/or support someone you trust, not their party, but the person.  In the voting booth, write in your own name or the name of someone you trust.

LatinoTalk Texas 2014, 0029 Catholic News, Issues and History

    in Politics

LatinoTalk Texas is America's only daily independent political analysis from the Latino perspective.  In today's show, I discuss news from Catholic Pulse, the news service of the Knights of Columbus of which I have been a member for over 25 years. The KC's are described by Saint John Paul The Great as "the strong right arm of the Church." Incidentally, Today is the first feast day of Saint Pope John Paul II." I discuss again the nature of the legal battle over homosexual unions being called "marriages" and how in Wyoming and Arizona the state's will on the issue has been overturned in the courts. While I do not seek to criticize individuals I do criticize the movement which seeks to employ a legal strategy to overturn the will of the people and undermine the very fabric of our culture. I then speak of the constant struggle between the Culture of Life and the Culture of Death which benefits from this homosexual issue as it undermines the foundation of our society. After the break I mention that famous Latino designer Oscar De La Renta had passed away. I went on to discuss the incredible polling data that showed a majority of Americans believe the country is "Out of Control!" Then in the final segment I read some headlines about the war in Syria against Islamic State and how the Democrats are avoiding Obama's name but not his policies. Lastly, I read a press release from Familia Latina Unida in that they seek to protest the lack of action from Obama on Immigration Reform and seek an independent Latino candidate for President in 2016.

LatinoTalk Texas 2014, 0032 Guest Raul Torres

    in Politics

LatinoTalk Texas is America's only daily Independent political analysis from the Latino perspective.  Today's guest was Raul Torres .  Mr. Raul Torres, CPA , has been an elected representative from Corpus Christi and although he was eminently qualified for Texas Comptroller the political machine in Texas forced him out for another more popular but unqualified candidate.  His insight into Texas politics and Latino issues in Texas is extremely valuable and I'm very grateful he called the show to share his insight.  Also, he appreciates the purpose and importance of Latino Talk Texas .  I am very grateful for that also.  On the show today I pointed out how, in the news, many of the predictions and analysis I have made during the past few months have been proved correct.  For example, I predicted that Islamist terrorist group Boko Haram in Nigeria would not comply with any agreement and the news today confirms that.  I predicted that the Tea parties would hate Jeb Bush for the same reasons that I like him.  I also predicted, recently, that Obama will NOT ease deportations practices after the election especially if Democrats do badly.  He won't "reward" Latinos for that.  Raul Torres and I discuss Greg Abbott's laudable efforts to win Pro-Life Latino votes in the Rio Grande Valley but I lament that he is the ONLY one doing so.  Torres confirms my observation that the Democrats take Latinos for granted and that the Republicans, otherwise, don't care for the Latino vote.  Great show today!!

LatinoTalk Texas 2014, 0034 Ben Carson announces for President and more

    in Politics

On today's show I read more news concerning the past election, the results, news that Dr. Ben Carson will run for President, some news concerning the Culture of Life and finally news that Obama will finally take the Islamic State Army seriously. Regarding Dr. Ben Carson announces that he is running for President.  He is an accomplished man saving lives, and being a very devoted Christian.  I compare Carson with Jeb Bush and report that I like and respect them both but that unlike Bush, Carson does not annoy the Tea parties which actually worries me.  In the news that Republicans made inroads with Latinos this election cycle.  I have my doubts.   I talked about this on my show, Latino Talk Texas, today. I believe that rather than assuming these numbers in percentages mean more Republican support they actually mean that because of very low voter turn out that there was great apathy toward Obama and the Democrats and that the few voters that actually did turn out were energized Republican voters. Thus, you get weird results in low voter elections.  Then, we discuss the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals has Upheld a same sex marriage ban and that opens the door to a Supreme Court hearing on the matter and I add my perceptions on the issues as a Christian and my understanding of the law.  Finally, I discuss the nature of the problem with the Islamic State Army and am glad that Obama will seek specific congressional authority to address the problems but I submit that, again, it is too damned little, too damned late.  I also mentioned earlier in the show that Secy of State John Kerry announced in talks with China that the USA would not take any position with regard to Chines movements in the South China Sea which should be a headline but was lost in the election drama.  This is a major departure for US foreign policy and will strongly affect the situation with Japan, Indonesia, Phillippines, and Viet Nam.
