Often or rather most weeks I am unsure as to what our meditation will be about. As you know I started this meditation series based on a book I was reading that offered 101 meditations and after two years of planned meditations as much as 2 weeks in advance, I am now allowing spirit to lead me as to what each week to meditate about. Sometimes it"s scary, but really oftentimes it is exhilerating.
It is my hope that you are getting more involved in your own meditation life and letting spirt guide you as well. It's actually even more fun, I think. And I am every grateful for that opportunity to fulfill my meditation. Journey with me and discover the what your spirit within can do for you or where it will lead you.
This morning on Small Business Saturday and 2 days after Thanksgiving Day it is our best time to explore meditation as an act of Self Care and Self Love. What are these?
Self-Care is the act of being good to and for yourself, whether healthily, emotionally or physically. It's as simple as brushing your teeth or taking a daf off to regroup or even just saying no to something or someone when you are tired.
Self-Love is getting in touch with your true and allowing your feelings to explore everything about you and your life, so you can truly enjoy the world around you.
This week we start Self-Care/Self Love with a Gratitude Meditation, based on the Daily Word.
Join me and explore a more fulfilling life through Self-Care and Self-Love.
Are you tired of just sitting or lying still while meditating? Then don't. Do what you desire to meditate, being who you really are. Do something that truly relaxes you, whether it's running or sitting still. Meditation IS suppose to release your stress and if you're stressed sitting still, then find your Om spot and do what truly releases you.
Join me as I walk you through a new meditation.
As you know one of my favorite liturgical writers is Catherine Ponder, so this morning I thought we could do a meditation on some of her Affirmations. Peppered a little by one of my other favorites Florence Scovel Shin. Please join me as we travel throug meditation.

During this episode, we explore the healing power of Laughter and Laughter Yoga! A daily dose of laughter is the one solution having the power to unwind stress and uplift joy; the power to slow down a racing heart and strengthen the mind; the power to raise the spirit and fend off pessimism…and all in an instant! Created in 1995, Laughter Yoga is a unique modality that can directly tap anyone into the healing power of laughter. Our Co-Host, Rob Fournier, recently received his Laughter Yoga instructor certification, and we are excited to experience this fun healing modality with you on the air!
Hailing from Mumbai, India, Dr. Madan Kataria, a medical doctor, and his wife Madhuri Kataria, a yoga instructor, tapped into their extensive combined wellness knowledge to create Laughter Yoga using a combination of rhythmic clasping, deep breathing, light stretching, and laughter exercises. Based on scientific fact that the body cannot differentiate between fake and real laughter, this powerfully healing modality has spread to where today there are more than a thousand laughter clubs in over 72 countries. Clinical research has proven that laughter lowers the level of stress hormones, such as epinephrine and cortisol, in the blood. Additional benefits of laughter:
-Boost immune system
-Reduces blood pressure
-Expands lung capacity
-Lifts mild depression
-Increases oxygen to the lungs
-Exercises abdomen and diaphragm

It's my birthday month, so I'll leave you through Affirmation-turned meditations by Catherine Ponder, Florence Scovel-Shinn, Neville Goddard and even with Afformation by Noah St. John. By the end of the meditation, you won't be able to help yourself, but feel better all around.
Why laugh at Cancer? Join Dr. Sharon Johnson in the fight against Cancer with laughter. Laughter is the best medicine. What is Humor Therapy?
Description: Humor therapy is the use of humor for the relief of physical or emotional pain and stress. It is used as a complementary method to promote health and cope with illness.
Overview: Although available scientific evidence does not support claims that laughter can cure cancer or any other disease (to admit humor's curative powers would cost them big $$$, therefore, no dice), it can reduce stress and enhance a person's quality of life. Humor has physical effects because it can stimulate the circulatory system, immune system, and other systems in the body.
How is it promoted for use? Humor therapy is generally used to improve quality of life, provide some pain relief, encourage relaxation, and reduce stress. Researchers have described different types of humor. Passive humor results from seeing prepared material, such as a funny movie, standup comedy, or an amusing book. Spontaneous or unplanned humor involves finding humor in everyday situations (umm, you mean like having a sense of humor.)

Don't worry, be happy and the answer to HAPPINESS is LAUGHTER!

Our bodies are a triangle...structure-chemical/electrical...emotional...physical.
LAUGHTER IS UNIVERSAL. The process involves every major system in the body. It's spiritual, physiological and emotional.
