Hybrid Jazz From Trish Hennessey - with Phil Denny!
A Lansing, Michigan, mortgage broker's dreams are coming true :) That's what Phil Denny's life was like for several years. He was actually the Vice-President of a company. But his passion for sax was fueling other dreams..
Finally, he decided to "go for broke" (as it were!) and concentrate on the true love of his life: playing music. The universe agreed with his decision and Phil has never looked back.
From part-time gigs to full-time, Phil caught the ear and eye of the locals and beyond. A dream became real in 2011 when keyboardist/producer Nate Harasim worked with Phil to launch his muscial debut, "Crossover." With the added touch of guitar master, Nils, and the magical voice of Anna Stevenson.
It's not rocket science to imagine that movie star looks and genuine chops are going to get attention - but this must be overwhelming for Phil. He just played Spaghettini's in Seal Beach, California - and the sold-out house showed love as though there was no tomorrow. And it gets better: Phil has plans and wants to share the news. That's why he's wasting no time and will be with us at the TOP of the show on Thursday, April 25th. One p.m. Eastern time. You'll learn about Phil's journey so far - and discover his music, for sure. But also learn the stories behind how soon in his career he has been able to share the stage with Kirk Whalum, Gerald Albright, Lalah Hathaway, Cindy Bradley, Howard Hewitt, and many more. If Cinderella was a male, his name would be Phil Denny. Whew!
This star is rising so fast that our collective heads are spinning! Catch him (quick:) www.phildenny.com

Sharon McRill of Betty Brigade
What is The Betty Brigade?
A personal assistance and concierge company based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, The Betty Brigade provides moving coordination, home staging, organizing, event planning, pet care, errands – virtually anything busy people need done but have no time to do themselves.
Having founded the company in 2003, owner and president Sharon McRill has grown her team to 12 members, including professionals in organizing, home project management and staging. The Betty Brigade's corporate and personal client list has grown, and the company has expanded its presence into East Lansing and Detroit.
Laid off from a corporate marketing job in 2003, McRill turned joblessness into an opportunity in the midst of an ailing economy. As a busy professional herself, she'd fantasized about having a personal assistant. Thus was born the business concept, which grew into "My Gal Friday," later renamed "The Betty Brigade."
