"Workers have a right to organize into unions and to bargain collectively with their employers. And a strong, free labor movement is an invigorating and necessary part of our industrial society.Only a fool would try to deprive working men and women of their right to join the union of their choice.Should any political party attempt to abolish Social Security, unemployment insurance, and eliminate labor laws and farm programs, you would not hear of that party again in our political history. There is a tiny splinter group, of course, that believes you can do these things, but their number is negligible and they are stupid." President Dwight Eisenhower
The Bible says in 1 Thessalonians 5:12, "And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labour among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you: vs.13 And to esteem them very highly in love for their work's sake. And be at peace among yourselves. vs.14 Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men." We have a lot of work to do in the Kingdom of God in working on our relationships with one another. It's time to stop walking in fear and pride, haughtiness and arrogance, and start walking in the "AGAPE" love of GOD!! That means there's got be a whole lot of "taking up your cross, denying yourself, and following after Christ."
You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you!!! Come on brothers and sisters, let's do this!! Talk about the POWER of GOD and FAITH operating!!! Wow!!! Great exploits will begin to manifest on a greater level!

Raconteur, poet, journalist, lawyer, soldier, teacher; Albert Pike was a man of many facetes. His work before the Supreme Court argued the treaty rights of American First Nations and faced down racism, genocide and raw political power with a conviction in the word of law and appearance of justice. He was a man of his times. When Dr Albert McKey was desparate for help writing the ritual for Scottish Rite, he turned to Col Pike, whose work has been tough for readers to digest because it requires exceptional dissection.
If you have been thus disappointed, our labour has been in vain
Whether these degrees have for you a real value depends upon your capacity to understand them
And upon the amount of study and the degree of reflection you have bestowed upon them
He brings a call for those committed to preserving the landmarks, who have embraced as their own the attitudes of the Antient Charges. No one can be compelled to change, yet as Pike reminds us, we take to the grave what we have learned. If we do not share that learning, it is then lost. We should be aware that the deeper lessons, the knowledge of freemasonry is at risk if we who are starving for knowledge do not willingly commit to our apprenticeship. No barrier is enough to make us fail. But move forward we will with respect as Antients sharing the feast.
Remember when the Canada/US Free Trade Agreement came along? It was all over the media, politicians of the day gave extensive time and effort to explain how they saw it to Canadians. It was the core issue of a Federal election. The majority Government victory for Brian Mulroney paved the passing of the pact. Then it became NAFTA with the inclusion of Mexico. Most of us can certainly remember some of the issues from that time, and they still go on.
Those days of relative "transparency" are long gone. The Corporate Pacification Committee (CPC) of Emperor Harper doesn't believe in telling Canadians what all these "trade" deals really mean. Canada/China FIPA. TPP. And now, CETA, Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement. With the 28 member European Union. Despite the warm fuzzies from Emperor about this being a "done deal", it is nowhere near that. The Agreement text is out there, whether it was meant to be or not. And it's not that "upside" for Canada.
Scott Harris is the Trade Campaigner with the Council of Canadians, Canada’s largest citizens’ organization. He has been active for over a decade in the anti-globalization movement, organizing around the MAI in the late-90s, the WTO ministerial in Seattle in 1999, the FTAA meetings in Quebec City in 2001, the Kananaskis meeting of the G8 in 2002 and the G20 Summit in Toronto. Prior to his position as trade campaigner, Scott was the Council of Canadians’ Prairies-NWT Regional Organizer, and he has also worked in the labour movement with the Alberta Federation of Labour and the Alberta Workers Health Centre and in international solidarity through the Alberta Council for Global Cooperation. He has had the distinct pleasure of being tear gassed by security forces in three different countries.
I will be joined by Scott and we will examine this deal in detail. There is much that Canadians need to know about it.

Elected MP for Glasgow Hillhead in 1987. Expelled from the Labour Party in 2003 over his stance on Iraq, and the following year co-founded the Respect Party. Won Bethnal Green in 2005 election, but at the 2010 election lost out in Poplar and Limehouse. This week he won Bradford West. Galloway opposed the 1991 gulf war and was critical of the effect that the subsequint santions had on the people of Iraq. In a 28 March 2003 interview that Tony Blair and George W. Bush had "lied to the British Air Force and Navy, when they said the battle of Iraq would be very quick and easy. They attacked Iraq like wolves. ..." and added, "... the best thing British troops can do is to refuse to obey illegal orders. This incitement was later among the formal reasons for his expulsion from the Labour Party. He called the Labour Government "Tony Blair's lie machine
In May 2005, a US Senate committee report accused Galloway along with former French minister Charles Pasqua of receiving the right to buy oil under the UN's oil-for-food scheme. On arriving in the US, he told Reuters, "I have no expectation of justice from a group of Christian fundamentalist and Zionist activists." Galloway described Coleman as a "pro-war, neocon hawk and the lickspittle of George W. Bush," who, he said, sought vengeance against anyone who did not support the war in Iraq.
