Kristoff St. John has been in the business for a long time. He is best known for his portrayal of Neil Winters on the #1 CBS soap opera, The Young and the Restless, for over twenty years. However, Kristoff has a brand new documentary, "A Man Called God," and Kristoff joins us to talk about this new brilliant documentary. Trailer below.
In this unique, compelling documentary filmed over thirty years ago, the St John family embarks on a spiritual journey from Los Angeles, California to Southern India to search for God. They find 'God' living in a remote village, surrounded by thousands of mesmerized followers. Heralded as an Avatar or a God Man, Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba is one of India's most prolific gurus in India today. With a fan base of 50 Million people worldwide, Sai Baba performs modern day miracles; Healing the sick and diseased, materializing solid objects out of the air. The St John family, Christopher, Maria and 14 year old Kristoff are slowly swallowed up by Sai Baba and his cult as they participate in the spiritual daily 'Ashram' routine, documenting on film their treacherous visit. The cult eventually overwhelms the family, with Sai Baba revealing his demonic thirst for pedophilia and other evils. A lair of lies, deceit, secrecy, sexual deviancy and murder, all under the unsuspecting banner of A Man Called God. A family deceived and destroyed, by the largest modern day cult, thriving globally today.

Kristoff St. John is best known for his role on ‘The Young and the Restless’ but the actor has much more than “soap star” on his resume. The NAACP award winner is releasing a new documentary, “A Man Called God” that took 33 years to film. “A Man Called GOD” is a documentary that was written and produced by “The Young and the Restless” star Kristoff St. John. It explores the St. John family traveling from Los Angeles to India in search of God. The documentary itself took place in 1980, and what the family would soon uncover is that their quest would turn into something more devilish than one would think. http://buzzworthyradiocast.com/?p=316

John Gonzales de Castrillo was born at Sahagun, Leon Spain. He was educated by the Benedictine monks of Fagondez monastery there and when twenty, received a canonry from the bishop of Burgos, though he already had several benefices. He was ordained in 1445; concerned about the evil of pluralism, he resigned all his benefices except that of St. Agatha in Burgos. He spent the next four years studying at the University of Salamanca and then began to preach. In the next decade he achieved a great reputation as a preacher and spiritual director, but after recovering after a serious operation, became an Augustinian friar in 1463 and was professed the following year. He served as master of novices, definitor, prior at Salamanca, experienced visions, was famous for his miracles, and had the gift of reading men's souls. He denounced evil in high places and several attempts were made on his life. He died at Sahagun on June 11, reportedly poisoned by the mistress of a man he had convinced to leave her. He was canonized in 1690 as St. John of Sahagun.

Holland was born and raised in Hollywood, California, and currently lives in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. It was not uncommon for the entire clan to spend holidays, birthdays and other important life events together. Holland’s father is a jazz musician. He plays a haunting and beautiful alto sax. As a child Holland used to love watching his father play. Some of his fondest memories are of nights spent in all-night jazz clubs till the wee hours of the morning watching him pour every inch of his soul into his glorious sax. His mother, Keithe, is an avid reader. Holland’s childhood was filled with jazz, rock and roll, art and an endless stream of books. But there was also his love of baseball. Holland’s dad signed him up for the Hollywood Little League when he was eight years old. Baseball came easily to him. Hailing down flies beneath huge summer skies, watching the ball explode off his bat and disappear into a tiny dot. He soon learned that this was a game filled with poetry and miracles, an inch being the difference between failure and success.

The past six months has seen a rapid rise in the level of naval and maritime activity across the globe. China, Russia, and Iran have expanded their air and naval activity into disputed areas with their neighbors, raising tensions and concerns around the world. Recently, the invasions of Crimea, Ukraine, and Yemen have all increased the levels of naval activity in the Baltic and Black Seas, as well as the Gulf of Aden, Straits of Hormuz, and Persian Gulf. In addition, out in the Pacific, tensions are rising between China and North Korea, and their neighbors around the Rim of the Pacific region. Active humanitarian crises are dominating the Mediterranean between Libya and Italy, along with Malaysia, Indonesia, and other areas of the Southwest Pacific. In addition, add in a major construction boom in naval vessels of all types, and maritime tensions are the highest they have been since the end of the Cold War.
To gain some insight on this complex international maritime situation, tune into this week's edition of Military Monday (#MilitaryMonday on the Writestream Radio Netwok (@Writestream)), today at 1 PM EDT. Host, bestselling author, journalist, documentary and film produceer John D. Gresham will be talking with Aviation Week & Space Technology Naval Editor Mike Fabey. Together they will discuss the ongoing series of crises and events across the world's high seas, along with new developments in shipbuilding and aircraft design, as well as other new technology developments.
