    Kristen Dreaper will discuss droppingkeys.net

    in Education

The Total Tutor Neil Haley will interview Kristen Dreaper. She will discuss droppingkeys.net.

Dropping Keys is a community built on the belief that we all have not just the capacity, but the responsibility to help others on their journey. Sharing our own stories represents a milestone in our road to recovery, wholeness, or on our spiritual journey. It signifies that we have made progress and hold wisdom that can help others. We share to inspire others and to reassure ourselves that we have, in fact, experienced personal growth.

Whether you have struggled with mental illness, substance abuse, fostering, or adopting, your experiences and wisdom can serve others.

Seers of the Soul & Kristen Leona **FREE READINGS**

    in Spirituality

Kristen is a psychic medium and empath. She uses her intuition and guidance to receive information through photographs. Her readings have provided insight to many people and have helped provide them with guidance. Her mediumship photograph readings have given grieving loved ones a sense of comfort and peace.
Before she begins a reading, she lights white candles and asks for protection and guidance with the reading. While she studies the photos, she receives psychic information about the subject. Examples of this information can be personality traits, behaviors, relationship issues, or possible medical concerns. During a mediumship photograph reading, she is able to connect with the subject that has passed on. She is also able to gather information about them and can ask them questions. These readings have provided many clients with a sense of peace and comfort. Psychic photograph readings can provide insight on a situation or concern and can also be enlightening if the person requesting is the subject.
Kristen is a columnist for Bellesprit Magazine, and has a monthly column called Insight Through Photographs. She is a Bellesprit Diamond Psychic and is available for personal readings through her website: www.kristenleona.com

CONFIDENCE AND GLOBAL CONNECTIONS -PEOPLE OF AFRICAN ANCESTRY- DR. KRISTEN BURAS

    in Education

    Show overview:

An Interview with Dr. Kristen Buras

By now, you are aware of the New Orleans education story that occurred after the Katrina Hurricane.  What you probably don't know, are the facts as recorded by researchers on the impact of charter schools on a community of color.  Dr. Kristen Buras h as written several books and articles on corporate education reform, a term that many researchers take offense to and have named it slave market reform.

NCEBC wants to welcome the full village to question, understand, and ask questions, about governance, educational policy, finances, resources and the basic democratic principles of equity, fairness and justice.  It is important (if not vital) that we have conversations to continue to dispel the myth that black children are incapable of achieving high test scores, therefore public schools are incapable of providing quality education.

"We believe in accountability.  We believe that data drives decision-making.  We believe in research-based practices.  These principles have been used for generations by high performing schools, principals and Superintendents; especially those working and succeeding in urban communities were poverty and race are the dominant elements.   This conversation is about the politics, power, economics and restructuring of a public school system into a charter school system".

Diana Daniels, Executive Director, National Council on Educating Black Children

Join hosts Dr. Nicole Walters and Mr. Michael "Chappie" Grice, both NCEBC Board of Director Members, on NCEBCTalkRadio on Monday November 2, at 10AM (EST)
