Who doesn't love a personality theory? Unfortunately, to many readers, personality systems seem like checklists, confining boxes, or games and gimmicks. We know we're all unique and in some ways we never stop changing; at the same time, we humans do fall into groups that are somewhat predictable. A useful personality theory needs to define, explain, predict and still leave room for flexibility and uniqueness.
Building on Jungian philosophy and deep personal observation, Ruth Johnston presents a living model of human personality. In this interview, we'll be talking about one of the building-block ideas: inborn, instinctive knowledge. Parts of our personalities are flexible and learn easily, while other parts are idealistic, confident and a bit rigid. We're different because each personality has these parts arranged in its own way.
Ruth, an old high school friend of mine, will join me to talk about these personality ideas by using some classic movies as illustrations. Some Frank Capra, some Film Noir, a surprise pick she won't tell me about in advance. I've been reading her book and I'm looking forward to talking movies and personality!

An Interview with Dr. Kristen Buras
By now, you are aware of the New Orleans education story that occurred after the Katrina Hurricane. What you probably don't know, are the facts as recorded by researchers on the impact of charter schools on a community of color. Dr. Kristen Buras h as written several books and articles on corporate education reform, a term that many researchers take offense to and have named it slave market reform.
NCEBC wants to welcome the full village to question, understand, and ask questions, about governance, educational policy, finances, resources and the basic democratic principles of equity, fairness and justice. It is important (if not vital) that we have conversations to continue to dispel the myth that black children are incapable of achieving high test scores, therefore public schools are incapable of providing quality education.
"We believe in accountability. We believe that data drives decision-making. We believe in research-based practices. These principles have been used for generations by high performing schools, principals and Superintendents; especially those working and succeeding in urban communities were poverty and race are the dominant elements. This conversation is about the politics, power, economics and restructuring of a public school system into a charter school system".
Diana Daniels, Executive Director, National Council on Educating Black Children
Join hosts Dr. Nicole Walters and Mr. Michael "Chappie" Grice, both NCEBC Board of Director Members, on NCEBCTalkRadio on Monday November 2, at 10AM (EST)

But he has done so much more than just this.....Azmyth Kaminski started out as a DJ. Little did he know that a new career path would blindside him very soon. A fateful meeting in late 2007 led him to Sande Alessi's office after being told he had a great pirate look. They were presently casting Pirates Of The Caribbean 3. Two weeks later he had a fitting & was working at the Disney ranch in the opening scene. His 1st break came immediately as he got chosen out of 500 pirates to be featured as 1 of 21 pirates who would actually be hung at the gallows. At the beginning of 2008, he was slipped into a casting for a new Mark Burnett reality show called Pirate Master. During this last round of Nation-wide casting he was selected as 1 of 16 members to take this undiscovered journey to the island of Dominica where the show was filmed. He did extremely well on the show as the most feared competitor, alas strategy got the better of him & he was cut adrift during episode 9.During this whirlwind period of a crash course in acting, he also began picking up pieces of producing. Although modeling is often about staying attractive, he couldn't help enjoying stunts that he had performed himself. He found a new love in performing his own stunts where possible during his acting roles & other castings. Since he was helping out on so many projects he began helping cast actors & models as well. At this point he decided to create his present company Manifest Station. These days you can find Azmyth DJ'ing for television shows & focusing efforts mainly in the production realm on music videos, commercials & upcoming feature films. But don't be surprised if you hear him on the radio soon or catch him waltzing across your TV screen in your very own home.
Special Guest: Singer, Model, and Actress Kristen Henry King (http://kristenhenryking.com) - Kristen battles with Multiple Sclerosis. She was inspired to write the song IMPERVIOUS chronicling her experience with MS.. listen to the song here on YouTube:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ScJit0ET-pw
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a potentially disabling disease of the brain and spinal cord (central nervous system).
In MS, the immune system attacks the protective sheath (myelin) that covers nerve fibers and causes communication problems between your brain and the rest of your body.
Signs and symptoms of MS vary widely and depend on the amount of nerve damage and which nerves are affected. Some people with severe MS may lose the ability to walk independently or at all, while others may experience long periods of remission without any new symptoms.
There's no cure for multiple sclerosis. However, treatments can help speed recovery from attacks, modify the course of the disease and manage symptoms.

As ISIS dominates news headlines, attention is given to the terrorist group’s ideology… when the truemotive of their mayhem is actually revealed in their theology!
Major General Michael K. Nagata of the Special Operations forces in the Middle East explains that “we do not understand the movement… and until we do, we are not going to defeat it.”
The key to defeating ISIS’ regime of terror is understanding its theology.
This is why two leading Biblical scholars offer this go-to guide to understanding ISIS’ distorted theology. Through fresh historical and Biblical insights, discover how ISIS’ acts of violence, terrorism, and persecution impact your life and your faith today.
Get revealing answers to questions such as:

Why does ISIS utilize social media and technology for terrorist propaganda?
Is ISIS Islamic and would Muhammad himself join this group?
How do the Gospels and the Qur’an see Jesus differently?
How does Biblical history address the development of ISIS?
The question millions are asking is Why? Why the hate? Why the persecution? Why the murder? To find the answer, you will trace the origins of ISIS’ radical theology and discover why these acts of terrorism are happening, what they mean, and where they are taking us.
