Kip Marlow’s book The Entrepreneurs: Success and Sacrifice is a great read for anyone seeking to learn from both the trials and good fortunes of others. Filled with stories of hope and sorrow, the author outlines each entrepreneur’s road to success in an entertaining, yet informative manner. I highly suggest this book to any prospective entrepreneur or anyone curious about being a success!
Hear interview with Mona Lisa and Kip Harding of Alabama who sent six of their homeschooled children off to college by age 12. One has become a doctor, another an architect, another a spacecraft designer etc. This very humble family thinks they are just average folks. Let's hear about the keys to their success. Too bad they're not running the Department of Ed.
Kip Marlow of The Entrepreneur Club of America and Entrepreneur's Insight Radio joins us to discuss his book, The Entrepreneurs: Success and Sacrifice. What does it really take to become a successful entrepreneur? Just ask those who have succeeded. The Entrepreneurs: Success and Sacrifice gathers the success stories of small business owners who have transformed small businesses into highly lucrative enterprises through vision, persistence, and plenty of sweat. Culled from Marlow’s interviews on his popular radio show, “Entrepreneurs Club Radio,” this highly motivational collection is an invaluable learning tool for anyone who wants to get ahead, and stay ahead, in their own business.
Author Kip Marlow tried his hand in the corporate world and failed. He then became an entrepreneur, founding Marlow Surgical Technologies, a company that marketed surgical instrumentation, some proprietary, for gynecology. After operating it for twenty-two years, Kip sold it to a NYSE company and retired. When he realized that retirement was boring, he re-entered the professional world, counseling and mentoring young entrepreneurs. This led to the launch of his radio show, “Entrepreneurs Club Radio” (www.ecrsuccess.com), for which he interviewed hundreds of successful small business owners. This led to authoring of the book, The Entrepreneurs: Success and Sacrifice.

PAUL LEVINE worked as a newspaper reporter, a law professor and a trial lawyer before becoming a full-time novelist. Obviously, he cannot hold a job. Paul claims that writing fiction comes naturally: he told whoppers for many years in his legal briefs. His books have been translated into 23 languages, none of which he can read.
He has won the John D. MacDonald fiction award and has been nominated for an Edgar, a Macavity, the International Thriller Writers Award, and the James Thurber Humor Prize. More info at www.paul-levine.com
What's new? "Lassiter" and "Last Chance Lassiter" are Paul's latest entries on Kindle. "To Speak for the Dead" continues its bestseller status more than 20 years after its hardcover publication.
Writing in USA TODAY, Larry King called the Lassiter series, "Mystery writing at its very, very best."
As writer, director, editor and executive producer of the dramatic thriller "Favor," Paul Osbourne has invested quite a bit of time into this project. His film has already been accepted to over 10 film festivals, including the Ft. Lauderdale International Film Festival.
This film follows a man Kip, who has gotten everything he's ever wanted: a thriving career, beautiful wife and an affluent lifestyle, all of which is put in jeopardy when the waitress with whom he's having a casual fling is accidentally killed.
Desperate, he ends up on the doorstep of childhood friend, Marvin, and asks him for a huge favor -- help get rid of the body.
This gruesome circumstance begins a series of events which unravels Kip and Marvin's lifelong friendship, leading both men to murderous acts neither had ever suspected themselves capable of.
Osbourne is also known for the acclaimed documentary "Official Rejection," which chronicled the experiences of independent filmmakers at film festivals. He wrote and produced the indie feature "Ten 'Til Noon" and is co-president of production company Conspicuous Pictures.
He attended the University of Miami; two of the shorts he wrote and directed there each won best picture awards at the university’s “Canes” film festival.
He lives with his wife, "Favor" producer Leslie Wimmer Osborne, and their three children in Burbank, California.
