This may seem like a strange thing to say, but here it goes: Children LOVE to help! You may be thinking, not my children or the children in my classroom, but they do!!! In this episode we will discuss how totease out the inner helper in children. You CAN get kids to help, even with chores! It's the HOW you get them to help that is the tricky part. We'll also talk about the historic Fairmont hotels in the area, and how they tie in to the history of Canada. Since no visit to Montreal would be complete without talking hockey, we'll pay have an interview focused on the Montreal Canadiens Hockey Hall of Fame. The Travel Brigade Show is off to Edmonton, “Canada’s Festival City,” for summer fun at the Folk Festival and Heritage Festival to give you a taste of festivals can be found here all year long. Travel Brigade takes in the red rock beauty of Moab, Utah, for hiking, canyoneering, mountain biking, rock climbing and river rafting in an area that has both Arches and Canyonlands national parks. We’ll have interviews with Discover Moab and the Red Cliffs Lodge located right on the banks of the Colorado River, and we’ll also find out about exploring slot canyons from the rigger Danny Boyle and James Franco consulted when making the movie 127 Hours, just one of many Hollywood movies filmed in this stunning location. After a day in the outdoors, in our “Ya Gotta Eat!” segment we’ll tell you about local Castle Creek winery, a classic drive-in with handmade buffalo chili burgers and a local diner’s breakfast concoction called the “Sweetwater Skillet.” Enjoy the trip!
