Eric Sprot- Is $500 Gold Possible?
$1 billion worth of gold has been shipped to South Africa from New York.
It turns out the $1.1 billion swing is entirely due to unusual shipments of gold from the US to South Africa in February and March. So far this year, 20,013 kg of unwrought gold, worth $982 million, has left John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), in New York, for somewhere in South Africa, according to the US Census Bureau's foreign trade division. (Unwrought gold includes bars created from scrap as well as cast bars, but not bullion, jewelry, powder, or currency.)
The shipments from JFK were the only unwrought gold to leave the US for South Africa in 2013; another large shipment occurred in September 2012.

the celtics season came to an end last night at td garden. the celtics looked like a team that had no energy to start the game and it cost them. the celtics however did make some noise coming back from 24 points down in the 4th quarter to make it a 4 point game before ultimately losing it by 8. so now many questions are being asked. will doc rivers, paul pierce and kg all leave or come back next seaon. what does danny ainge need to do this summer when it comes to the roster. who do boston fans root for now we discuss that all tonight

celtics vs knicks game 5 recap
put the shovels away and put a lock on that coffin new york knick fans cause the celtics did it again. the boston celtics in front of the new york fans beat the full ny knick team in game 5 of the 1st round playoff series by a final score of 92-86. the celtics had 5 players in double figures the same 4 guys who did the damage in game 4 in pierce, kg, terry and green but this time brandon bass joined the fun. the celtics in a evenly officiated game managed to lock down both carmelo anthony and jr smith. we recap the game 5 win as well as play the players reactions. we also look forward to game 6 friday in boston.

NBA Playoffs Game 2 Series Preview
After Miami, New York and Denver have all taken significant leaps towards a 1 of 7 game series lead vs their opponets @ home, the road teams continue to seek revenge on the matchup favorites. Smith plans to end the recent postseason run success of a veteran Celtics ballclub who are determined to even the series @ 1 game a piece heading into Boston also for games 3 & 4 without the catalyst, starting point guard Rajon Rondo where the Garden is expected to be electrified & emotional considering last week's horrific tale of events resulting in homicidal terrorists bombing attacks that shook the U.S. Furthermore, Golden State has their hands full yet again with the Nuggets in Mile High Pepsi Arena where Denver claims the league's best home record & if the Warriors want to be victorious tonight, it'll have to start with guard Stephen Curry & the production from the Bay Area's bench as All-Star forward David Lee is out for the remainder of the postseason with a hip injury. The celtics knocked off the knicks in game 4 to force the series back to new york for a game 5. the celtics took advantage of the jr smith suspension and forced carmelo to take all the shots. carmelo took 35 of the knicks 90 shots while only making 10 shots. the celtics went up by as many as 19 in the hast half before blowing the lead in the 2nd half and ultimately having the knicks take the lead. but the celtics veterans in kg, pierce and terry manged to force overtime where the celtics outscored the knicks 13-6 with jason terry leading the charge. the celtics talk crew will discuss what worked for boston this game and what changes can doc made in game 5 to prevent another collapse.
