Expounding Upon The Word Of God With Apostle Kevin & Angela Steward
Host Kevin Hunter is proud to feature Dr. Taffy Wagner, counselor in finances and marriage.
How long have you been doing premarital financial counseling and what made you focus on marriages?
It all started back in 1995 when I met my husband Eric, who had an independent career and counseling business for juniors and seniors in high school. He was saying to high school students and parents that students could go to college and get a four year degree in less than four years without putting the family in debt. I was introduced to him by some mutual friends because he was searching for some administrative help. I met him to interview for the job and shared my background with him not really know what it was that he did and learned shortly thereafter that I had DONE with my college education what he had been attempting to teach these families. Needless to say, I got the job and began learning the ropes of career and college counseling for high school students and families.
What type of clients do you work best with?
My clients generally are sick and tired of struggling financially, know there has to be a better way and are willing to accept responsibility for their past financial decisions and are ready to move forward. They are willing to INVEST in themselves and not seeing it as buying a service. They have DREAMS and GOALS they want to achieve and know they cannot do it alone.

Hosts Kevin Hunter and Jeff O'Brien discuss the legal aspects and how-to's of owning a brewery. Jeff is an expert on assisting new and current brewers in Minnesota. Kevin and Jeff cover the business law on The Business Forum Show.
A note from Jeff:
Assisting new and existing breweries in their legal needs has become a large part of my law practice in the past five years. A few years ago, in an effort to educate prospective brewery owners as to the legal issues they would need to address in realizing their dream, I co-authored an article for The Growler entitled “The Ten Legal Steps to Owning a Brewery.” You can read the article here.
You can call this broadcast on The Business Forum Show with Kevin Hunter the “cliffs notes” version of the article. We discuss choosing a name, choice of entity, protecting your brewery name – and beer names – through trademark registration, leasing (or purchasing) real estate, raising funds and applying for Federal state and local licenses.
Genuine. Sincere. Honest. Transparent. Trustworthy. Reliable. What qualities do you most exemplify in your business? Do you show the qualities no matter what's going on? Can your employees trust you to be the same person from day to day? Join Hosts Kevin Hunter & David Ford as they shed light on a common situation in business where owners & employees have a public goal or public agenda as well as a private goal / agenda. What happens is a conflict of interest.

This week’s Featured Author is . . . Atthys Gage
Atthys Gage is a writer and musician with a lifelong love for myth, magic, and books. His second real job was in a bookstore. As was his third, fourth, fifth and sixth. Eventually, he stopped trying to sell books and started writing them. After studying classics at Haverford College, he developed an interest in the ways that ancient stories influence modern story-telling, and has always had a fascination for that cloudy borderline between the normal and the paranormal. He lives on the coast of Northern California with his long-suffering wife, strong-willed children, and several indifferent chickens.
