First, let's thank awesome promotions "star", Jason Gorov, for the introduction! Jason sent "Let Me" by Kenya in 2015 and yours truly listened HARD. That song popped off the page. Then, hearing other tracks from "My Own Skin" was more confirmation. During the holiday season, our guest's take on "Little Drummer Boy" knocked dozens of socks OFF all over the country and the world. Kenya was on a mission to convey that treasured piece in HER way - and we felt the emotion.
This enterprising artist has been working hard for some time. Not only a superb vocalist (trained by the same legendary coach as Dianne Reeves), Kenya is also a songwriter, clinician, educator and Mom. She knows how to balance the plates in the air - and shows up EARLY, if you dig what that means ;)
A native of Denver, this powerhouse had a Dad who made SURE that she appreciated Jazz. Calvin McGuire used to be a drummer and worked alongside Marvin Gaye. Growing up, she heard Billie and Grover - but she also was drawn to Minnie Riperton and Stevie Wonder. HE was a true inspiration. Jazz, Soul and Pop/Rock - Kenya appreciated The Police and Robert Palmer, too. Her love of music and her ability resulted in participation in city-wide choirs in middle school. At Howard University in D.C., she was involved in the esteemed Gospel choir there.
With a Bachelor's in Physical Therapy and a Masters in Counseling and Student Development, she had all the tools that she needed to succeed financially. But she missed music. A life-changing retreat in Sedona, Arizona, paved her renewed spiritual journey. After two EPS - now, "My Own Skin", Kenya is exactly where she needs to be. Success on multiple charts is God's way of letting her know that the world is READY! Join us on 2/2 - and meet Kenya!

Many ideas have been created when the author, inventor, or creator is at peace. When the mind is stressful, one cannot think clearly or hear clearly, and the small still voice cannot be heard. Just think if George Washington Carver had not gotten up at 4am to take a walk of solitude, we would not have the great inventions from the peanut. If Joel Olsteen did not spend quiet time with God, we would have books to encourage us to continue this walk. Yes, we need our peace to maintain a productive life, however, the products of our peace is not just for us. It is for our childen, generations to come, our friends, family, co-workers, and those who God puts in our path. Our peace will help us encourage others to develop their gifts and talents.
Today we give the Violet Flame for God Peace to manifest throughout our planet including in our governments, our countries, our cities, our living rooms and our world.
TODAY's Booklet Available here
Peace starts within us and resonates around and within our planetary body, and we are the Body of God below as we are Above. Time to heal the wounds of the past and be present with the I AM Presence that brings life and peace to and through all of us.
Jesus Christ Prince of Peace showed us the Way 2000 years ago, and now it is our turn to Be One with the Way that Jesus demonstrated, the Way of Peace. Archangel Uriel is the Archangel on the Ray of Peace and he will be helping us generate the Light in today's Violet Flame Saturday.

For action-adventure author James Rollins, his travels, adventures and interests play a critical role in the development of his thrillers. In his new book, The Bone Labyrinth, James used his training as a veternarian to explore the question of human development and intelligence. He takes us to mankind's next leap and presents the question of our fate as a species.
Accordingly to Saturday Evening Post contributor, Todd Pitock, we can learn a lot about American history through understanding the progresssion of whiskey. Todd takes us along America's multi-state Whiskey Trail and gives us a history lesson between sips.
American history can also be understood through the perspective of our Founders homes, accordingly to author Myron Magnet. In his book, "The Founders at Home: The Building of America" Myron says that the architectural styles of our Founders reflects their social consciousness and their ideals for America's future at the time.
We walked along the floor of the New York Times Travel Show (#NYTTravelShow) and spoke to representatives from Sri Lanka and Belize.
Happiness, true happiness, is an inner quality. It is a state of mind. If your mind is at peace, you are happy. If your mind is at peace, but you have nothing else, you can be happy. If you have everything the world can give - pleasure, possessions, power - but lack peace of mind, you can never be happy. -Dada Vaswani
